How many max players have opted in ? He deserves security of knowing that he's a big part of the plan ? You should just say you don't want melo . Cp3 got a max deal and he's injury prone
You should just say you're a bigger Melo fan thanKnicks fan.

No your not a Knicks fan . Your acting like your plan is some fool proof guarantee of success when we see how many draft classes suck , there is so many factors that can make that plan a disaster . Bad draft class , low pick in the lottery etc when we seen that top players together automatically make you a contenderYou should just say you're a bigger Melo fan thanKnicks fan.

Aldridge has had less postseason success than Melo and he's injury prone Melo is a top 10 player hands down and has had more playoff success than cp3 . Your killing me with your Melo hate man led us to the playoffs after a decade of futility and then our first playoff win and then our first series win but you making it seem like he's a negative ..you aren't anything but a Melo hater so I don't know why I'm having this discussion with youWe've had one good season in 3.5 years since Melo has been here. The roster isn't nearly as bad as the Melo fan police think it is. Dumping Felton and JR, adding a competent PG, executing the triangle and this team could compete next year if Melo returned for his final year on his contract.
There's no silver bullet to success. Melo's been in the league a long time now- ignoring his career and lack of post season success and giving him a huge contract would be silly. Phil knows better. Plus, next years the big FA class anyways. Aldridge should be the guy we pursue.

Don't argue with Trip breh, he's a known Melo hater & NEVER give dude his due. When Melo was going ham & carrying us & winning, Trip was notoriously absent from the thread.
Melo in the Olympics plays without the ball and with quick decisions and why are you acting like Melo didn't pass a lot last season . Aldridge has shown less than Melo and you bigging Him upYou'd rather have Carmelo than Aldridge? I'm not a hater I'm a realist. The only way to go about this is having a test run on the last year of his contract to see if he's a fit. If he is, great. Resign him. Melo in a new offense that's going to force him to move without the ball may not be for him, he's never had to do it in his career. Would rather find that out before giving him a huge contract.
I don't know why you keep bringing up Chris Paul- I'd want nothing to do with him.
oh look another statcity\trip debate about Carmelo
I agree it would've been better if he opts inI don't see how any Knicks fans could be against Phil wanting melo to come back on his last year. If Melo wants to leave he'll leave. : manny:
I agree it would've been better if he opts in
But if he opts out, and takes less than the max like he said he would do, how much does that really hamper Phil's plans?
Not to mention he hasn't come out and said a word officially either way, there's still 10 days before his decision
Its too early to be making conclusions, from either side of the argument
