One of the Cats at the RealGM board is saying Phil is trying to fleece Jordan for the 9th Pick of the Draft.

Trading Tyson for it.

I'd trade Tim jr and Tyson for a shot at drafting Stauskis. He's going to be a legit player in the NBA

none of those players have ever expressed any interest in playing for the knicks whatsoever
you literally just pulled a random team out of your ass
and we have no idea what condition these players are gonna be in IN 5 YEARS

your overcomplicating shyt
how bout we just resign melo, and make a run at aldridge, love, marcl gasol, rondo, dragic etc NEXT year
not 5 years from now
and take it from there
People disrespect for Melo is :snoop: the best solution. Is sign Melo and add on . The heat look like they aren't a sure thing going forward and the pacers look overrated. The Knicks easily could make the ECF next with a decent pg , we acting like jr can't play bstter and shump and Timmy can't get better ? If we keep chandler he's pretty consistent with his role ( hope he's gone though )

No one will be worried about melo leaving or staying while Phil is in charge....this will be the last year of that type of chatter. If the Knicks dont have a good year next season he'll bounce. If they surprise they'll look to resign him. What 100% isnt happening is Carmelo getting max money from the Knicks.
If Melo leaves and we suck and we get some draft pick thst doesn't pan out you should never talk again . The draft is no sure fire thing had with how critical ny media is once Melo leave and we suck I hope you enjoy your CAA free garden. Top 10 talents which Melo is aren't easily replaceable I seen years of bad garden ball I don't want that , the east is weak and Melo is a top 3 player in the east time to go all in and give him help what we couldn't give Ewing

People have the hate blinders on. I'm quite sure Melo will resign. I don't blame him for opting out & re-upping. At the end of the day, it's a business & dude is trying to get paid just like we all are. And I'm quite sure he'll sign a contract that will give us enough cap space to add another major piece.

Look even if Melo does sign a max deal I won't harshly judge him because he earned that deal . No matter what plan Phil has Melo is taking them at face value they he won't be stuck here without help . The east is going to start being alittle less hard if wade stays looking finished

True. And Wade already looked finished. Imo, that's why Miami is trying to make a play for Melo.

Then become a fan of whatever team he goes to. Phil isn't giving Melo a max contract. Thank god.

Melo is due 23 mill next year. There's zero reason to give him a new deal right now.

.
How many max players have opted in ? He deserves security of knowing that he's a big part of the plan ? You should just say you don't want melo . Cp3 got a max deal and he's injury prone . The Knicks spent years trying to get a top talent and we get one but now you want to let him go to maybe possibly rebuild through the draft . I'll prefer Melo and other talents than getting a draft pick which could be a bust
