Make Movies Great Again? When is the last time you went to the movie theater?

It has gotten expensive.
I don't mind the price so much. But I do make an effort to see things during the afternoon when it's less crowded.
My rule used to be only summer blockbusters in movie theaters. I usually like watching in the comfort of my own home now though.

Years ago when The Dark Knight Rises came out I saw it in the theaters on the first night.

Won't do that again.

I went to see One of Them Days this month on a rainy day for $7 (tax included). I always buy my ticket at the theater to avoid extra fees. It was storming when I went in then when I walked out the sun was back shining again.

I go to the matinee 4-5 times a year. I would go more but I don't like the 2.5-3hr long movies. Those long ones are for watching at home only.

:wow: we back in theater next month for Marvel Gang

Only movies that get me in the theater are comic, action, or the occasional sci-fi movie.

Watching regular shyt like dramas can he done at home. It's not really worth it to go to the movies for those to me. It's just people talking and making faces like :dahell: or :ohhh:
Horror movies are good in theater too. I heard watching "Get Out" in the theater was an amazing experience :wow: Jordan Peele deserves so much props for that movie, the concept was creative as hell :banderas:

Imagine seeing the Halloween movie with Busta Rhymes in a hood theater :mjlol: Nikkas had to be going crazy when Busta started doing Karate moves while squaring up with Mike.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Deadpool and Wolverine. None of the movies that have been releasing lately have interested me enough to go to the theater. Most will be streaming in a few months. I'm definitely seeing the new Captain America, Superman, and Mission: Impossible movies in theaters when they release, though.
