 Stop comparing the gay lifestyle to being black...they are not the same. Who is teaching you this shyt?!

Where were these gay people when MLK was marching through Selma? Now, you want us to jump on board with people that were invisible when we were enslaved and being lynched :pacspit:
It's 2013 dude. I'm sure there were PLENTY of gay marchers marching with MLK, believe it or not, there are gay black people.

The gay rights movement was directly inspired by Martin Luther King jr and the black civil rights movement. The gay rights movement began only 5 or so years after King.

And he isn't comparing the lifestyle. He is comparing the fight to obtain equal rights.

Stop letting your bigotry towards gays rob you of logic. We can tell you're emotional as hell.

I also always find it interesting that the anti-homosexual folks who will have 50 posts in a single thread about homosexuality NEVER post in any threads of intellectual merit. Is this the only thing you can speak on because there is no research or intelligence needed? You can just speak your bigoted views and you'll find more than enough folks on here to dap up your posts.

exactly. the quest for Black rights wasn't just about Blacks, it was a quest of Universal freedom for all. It single-handedly paved the way for people of all colors/religions/sexual orientations/genders to seek equal rights as well. I don't see ANYONE ever say that gays have had to go through as much suffering or were denied as many rights as blacks. But they are denied the right to marriage which they're trying to obtain now. I don't understand why these cats get so angry and upset (read the posts in this thread, you can feel the venom in them) with the comparison. They avoid the talk about rights and just start rambling about how Blacks had it so much worse than gays and that gays can hide the fact that they're gay (which isn't really possible if you want to be able to fall in love with another man and have a normal relationship..how the fukk are you going to hide the fact that you're dating a man?)

SHUT YO DUMB ASS UP!

every one of them had freedom except us.

:childplease: You must believe you were born gay like all other homos. Y'all don't believe the same when it comes to pedos though.

I don't know...I'm saying the only people who can really know for sure are people who classify themselves as gay. I'm not presuming that it can or cannot be repressed.

What a great, logical debate we're having here.

Every one of them had freedom? No. They didn't. The only people who had all the rights we hold dear to us today were White land owning males. Sodomy laws were created to target gays and put them in jail.

You act like you have read all my posts on the-coli. You think supporting gay marriage makes you more of an intellectual than someone who is against it :childplease:

The problem I have with this gay movement is how they are using black people as some kind of crutch to justify their movement because they have no other leg to stand on. These so-called "invisible" gay people who marched with MLK should have came out as gay instead having a hidden agenda...wouldn't you say? That would be some sneaky shyt if you ask me. That is why they are not the same.

Ok...so should we feel the same for people that have been attracted to pre-pubescent children for as long as they can remember?

 where were you when alot of gays come out and say they were molested? where is the fight then? oh that's right, it's better to accept 'they were born gay" to accept the fact that most of them had been molest as a child, which that makes somebodies "responsibility". yeah go ahead and ignore this! nobody said nothing when them boys were molested in penn state, everybody just brush it away like it didn't happened; exspecially like a lot of you people witnessed seeing your family member happened to him or her. Yeah go ahead and ignore this! look at how many kids today have been molested and nobody DO A THING!:aicmon: EVERBODY MAKED JOKES ABOUT BEING MOLESTED. Yeah go ahead and ignore this!

pedo's and gays are two different things einstein. People have killed each other since the beginning of time, doesnt mean we allow it... because it causes harm to one party. Two consenting adults should be able to do what the fukc they want to each other.

Fukc you fakkets dont understand about that?

:what:

This has NOTHING to do with whether there were gay folks marching with MLK.

I'm a regular poster here in Higher-Learning so I generally know the folks I see in science/history or other intellectual threads. Your ass ain't one of them. Folks crawl out the woodwork when they see a thread about homosexuality.

What do you mean they have no leg to stand on? They're human fukking beings, they deserve the right to marry each other in their pursuit of happiness (an unalienable right). Humans fall in love with eachother, start families and get married. That's what we do. It doesn't matter if you're white, black asian, gay, heterosexual or bisexual.

That's what we're talking about here. Not whether homos marched with fukking martin luther king.

So.."Invisible gay people" who marched with MLK should've told the world how gay they were instead of having a "hidden" agenda and that is "why they aren't the same".

What..the fukk.. It's impossible to debate people who have no sense of logic or being able to use that logic to convey a point. You make no sense. And this is not me trolling. It's genuinely a waste of my time.

It makes me throw up how all these black celebrities preach "Noh8" and proudly wear the accompanying insignia and openly campaign against prop 8 but they get sheepish, talk about how "it's 2013" and play devil's advocate for white racists when it comes to the topic of RACISM against BLACKS. You would never have a white homosexual talk about "forgiving and forgetting" the way these dumb ass celebrity blacks go on about "post racial Obama America" or whatever :gag:.

None of these cowards will stand up for their people and take a stand against the continued marginalization of blacks. Institutional racism? "But it's 2013, blacks are more racist than whites anyway!" :snoop: :mindblown:

You'll never hear a gay white person talk about homophobia that way.

I have no problem with gay marriage/gay rights. But it's NOT THE SAME as being black. Do NOT compare the two experiences.
