The only song I didn't keep from T&Y is Dots and Lines, which other ppl seem to love but is garbage to me. The instrumentation is just too weird, even outside of the banjo bookends.

I kept about half of TPAB. It's pretty good, but T&Y is great. Obviously TPAB is selling better and getting more hype. Kendrick is a company man with Interscope so he's getting the full-court industry push. Lupe is in the opposite situation, leaving his label, and is getting the treatment that goes with that.

LuGAWD :TP9stayschemin: "if it was up to me, I never unlocc these nikkaz"
Wouldn't rehabilitate, man, I would just box these nikkaz
And throw away the key, I'd throw away the key like the coast guard watching me
I'd throw away the keys/ki's, I'd throw away the keys/ki's, I'd throw away the keys/ki's

Better watch these nikkaz (on God/en garde/on guard)

The dualities *Hov voice* :wow:

I love both of these records. Tetsuo & Youth and TPAB were my most played hip-hop albums this year, no question. I'm gonna give Lu the slight edge because there isn't a single song that I didn't like on T&Y whereas TPAB had songs like "u" that I wasn't really feeling. Still a great record but parts of the song were hard to listen to.
