It's the same dudes and they're in seemingly every Drake, Cole and Kendrick thread trying to bring his name up like he's on their level. And another thing is ya'll dudes ALWAYS try to mention Nas like Lupe is in someway even comparable. Lupe fell off along time ago imo, but even at his best he never achieved anything near what Nas achieved during his career. Rhyme wise, album wise, sales wise, respect wise...nothing.
I hate when nikkas use this rhetoric to back up their argument.
This. And from the outrage about Kendrick's comments I think people can see that him and Lupe aren't completely different. Kendrick aint immune from the heat for his statements. Only Kendrick isn't nearly as outspoken as Lu. He plays it safe.
He is comparable to all of them. Lupe made a noticeable impact after his entry into the game whether y'all wanna admit it or not. I got quotes of praise, songs, tweets, homage from all kinds of rappers ranging from Nas & Ra to new gen rappers giving Lupe his due props. I'll go fish for them if I have to. Even Cornell West.
Lupe might not be as popular nowadays as 4-5 years ago but he's still making some of the best music of his career. He fell off as an artist then came back in my opinion. It's like we gotta pretend like Lupe wasn't one of the main dudes holding down the mainstream from 2005-2010. Why do people feel so threatened by this guy, and try to deny the mark he left?

Your confusing falling off with popularity with falling off lyrically. Those first two albums was damn near 10 years ago.. Do you expect that nikka to rap the exact same way he did 10 years ago? What rapper does that? And if he does, i bet yall clown him for being "one dimensional" or for "never evolving"
How did he fall off since cool and f & l when with this new album he got nikkas going to rap genius and they thesauraus again JUST like when he first came out? This nikka did a whole album of songs like " failure"
