Tried listening to a few songs off this album...shyt'z just not my cup of tea...i can see the appeal tho ...his lyrical creativity & technical ability are top notch...his cadence, flow, delivery & rap voice is ASS...that and the fact his content lacks illustrative coherency makes his music largely unlistenable to me...and no, his lyrics are not "going over my head"...he just does a poor job of communicating his points effectively...and leaves the listener with a whole lotta guess work...alotta his lyrics are just straight up random, trite and don't mean shyt...but are being masked as "highly complex"...reading the annotations to the lyrics of mural on rapgenius is just...hilarious...but still...it takes an exceptional amount of skill & creativity to write like he does... but being a great writer doesn't automatically mean your capable of making quality, entertaining music.

K-Rino is massively better than Lupe, Slug is better too, Aseop probably isn't, I didn't say he was either, I said his song Daylight is better lyrically than anything on the album, it is hugely highly complex but it is much more substantive, and rhymes better than the just a baby shyt too.

If you ain't got the time then there's no point, it needs to be broke down and explained with some detail, and examples, you don't show just 1 song to show why someone is a better lyricist anywhere, especially when Lupe has some good lyrical shyt too, it is going to be numerous examples of how he is a much better lyricist in every (or at least nearly) single area. You can ignore the thread or enter, your choice, when I have a moment will set it off and then anyone who wants to debate in there can do.
