So I’ve decided to just start from scratch with new records instead of pushing through something on y’all that I’m not feeling and that I don’t think y’all would feel either. It’s like 3 joints but they were really pivotal to the second half of the album. So I’m gonna tear it all back down and start over till I get the vibe back.”



Smh. Hopefully we get to hear those 3 tracks that were left off. And they were from the 2nd half so you know they were prolly on some super smooth shyt

This is all from the Reddit updates page, he was feeling the remakes the next day or so. King Nas was one of them and a couple others, probably also Soundtrakk, since he did the remakes. That said, Dee-1 listened to the album last year and said Lupe played him "all 28 tracks", so something was cut after all.

Nah that's a you thing. Most hip hop folks, big fans of Lupe or not, are in agreement that it's a great album.

Doesn't take a Lupe Stan to appreciate this. That's more like a Lasers or Food & Liquor 2.

Finally made it to Quotations From Chairman Fred

This might be my 2nd or 3rd favorite cut so far....

The lyrics are A+, but not only that, the speech parts compliment the song perfectly.

And Nikki's voice/hook sound so angelic . I think it's my favorite hook from her ever

It's real funny to me how this site talks all this "black excellence" this and "fukk cacs" that...meanwhile, a man puts out an unapologetically black album and ya'll still making excuses for "not feeling" him because he fell out of white media favor a decade ago, hence why the last album you "felt" was The Cool.

He's too complex for me but it's really not that deep

He can rap but I dont like the beats even though this is the best production he's had in years

I pretended like I listened to a 4 songs out of 24 and I didn't like it :fohch:

I don't like the beats but I can listen to drumless loops all day

I'm not sure if I can handle his voice for that long but I can deal with a nikka from California doing his best Quasimoto impression for an hour


But I'm not a stan so if you don't like it, it's whatever.
