That criticism season 1 pretty much sealed its fate: White ppl complained about they couldn’t understand aka TOO black (Which is crap, smh.). It’s a real shame. Show was employing lots of black Hollywood talent, the cool hip-hop references peppered throughout the show.....its deflating that this show was cut down.

Luke Cage the show had style I'll give it that, great music and some good gags but nikka, that shyt was wack. Not as wack as Iron Fist and JJ, but still wack. Mike Colter is the biggest problem. That nikka cant even portray an authentic nikka

He's a good actor imo. He just didn't have anything to work with in LC. Every superhero either has an alter ego or a career/job to go back and forth from to enhance their story and character.. LC had nothing. He barely had a cell phone breh.

I guess. DD was ok season 1 and fell off season 2. Not bothering with S3. But honestly none of these shows are actually great. Luke cage was the most tolerable to me. It's main problem was Luke Cage was too one note.

That is what they do in Marvel Comics anyway.

If sales for one comic dips all of a sudden they become a dynamic duo.

Every comic publisher does this.

They teased Power Man & Iron Fist at the end of season 1 so it would only make sense to combine two rubbish Marvel shows.


Rosario Dawson single handedly ruined many a episode for me.

In the comics her character is called The Nurse is only in like two panels then fukks off. In The Netflix MCU this bish has multiple entire episodes dedicated to her and her character is literally meaningless.

So much bad acting in Luke Cage and Iron Fist is just dreary at times. I wouldn't be surprised if this happened because they were hinting at it anyway.
