Shelton got jobbed out of the blue. Point blank...he was having competitive matches and was over. Thing is..he wouldn't let a Orton clown him like that..We've all seen Shelton botch but during reviews of his matches, no one ever shytted on him for it because he always brought it by taking chances. Kofi being doing the same clown shyt for years and is content to goof and smile it up. He has no backbone..he's just another background on another Blu ray. "Bro this" and "Bro that" ain't gonna cut it. Especially 6 years in your career.
Shelton Benjamin is the ultimate case of not taking advantage of a world class talent. Kofi is just a jumping goofball in tights. People want to praise his mediocrity? Let them. He'll never produce when it's money time though.

I think he's in a good spot. He could have had some actual feuds but you can say that for most of the mid carders.

I look at some of the times they could have done something interesting with Kofi's character and didn't and I just

Feuds with Miz over IC title, commentators sell a "more aggressive" Kofi Kingston--beats Miz, then cuts a promo talmbout "You really CAN be the smiling guy who goes, 'Boom! Boom! Boom!' and still win
" 
Loses IC title to Barrett, seem to be selling a more serious side--then he goes on a four-month losing streak.
Gets put through three tables by Ryback, is out of action for two months, and the crowd popped for it--comes back the same smiling Kofi, no attempt at revenge on Ryback
Wyatts start cutting cryptic promos after his matches, they never put their hands on him even though they beat the shyt out of everyone else--just a blowoff match at Struggleground
Beats WWE WHC in a match clean--back to jobbing the next week.
Gets a beatdown by Kane for speaking out against The Authority--never even brought up again, jobs to Bo Dallas the next night.
This is why I'm so intrigued by this new stable. This could be the best thing to happen to Kofi's career in years, and they could even sell him having some pent-up frustration from all the aforementioned incidents.
