Kofi Kingston is a chump...what his biggest feat? No one knows because no one cares. And if anyone did, it would of led to at least Ziggler level support but it didnt. A hype man for DVD interviews is his title. Paige has made a bigger impact in one night than he made in 6 years. Rusev is already ahead of him. He let a delusional mark like Ryback pass him up. I feel like Kofi is just one of those happy to be here ass nikkas 
he doesn't really care enough to put himself on creatives radar or come up with his own character and storylines. Of course, this is just a theory of mine I could be wrong. He's probably content with his position though. Vince seems to reward loyalty so maybe he'll get a world title run late in his career on some Mark Henry shyt

And for a long period of time at one point, the crowd cared about Kofi and his merchandise was selling pretty well for a midcard guy despite his lack of feuds and lack of mic time. Eventually, people stopped caring about him as his booking got worse over time.

They do nothing with him and I really don't believe that it's through any fault of his own. I've mentioned before that the WWE could turn Kofi into a John Cena lite if they wanted to because he pulls in the same demographic Cena does (kids and grandparents), and Kofi is definitely more likable than Cena is.
Saying that we want more for him doesn't mean that he has to main event (though it'd be nice to see him there at least once) or be WWEWHC. It means giving him an actual storyline that feels atleast semi important. Give him some upper midcard feuds. Wtf is Cesaro doing? Nothing. They could've given them a story to work with. His place on the card and not beating main event guys or main eventing himself is fine and is where he should be. Where he deserves more is storylines/feuds. Since the Orton feud he hasn't really been given anything to make you care about his character or be interested in a storyline of his. That's true of a lot of midcarders, and I think a good midcard storyline for him would be great and maybe be able to elevate him.

My thing is that this guy has defeated main event players showing that he is credible but has still never main evented on a B level pay per view at the very least.
I just don't get how, with the history of this company and black wrestlers, people can reduce Kofi's lack of opportunities to not "wanting it enough." As if that's how the E determines their pushes.
Guys like Dolph and Ryder get KILLED on here for being vocal about their positions - Kofi has been the ultimate professional all the way through, and he's "content with where he is."
It's not to say he's this transcendent star waiting to break out, but as stated, but it'd be nice to see a guy like him get the same exploratory pushes and fresh storylines that guys on his level have gotten. Hopefully PG Nation is the start of that.
