again.. why are people comparing this and House of the Dragon? They are almost entirely a different genre. They both have "fantasy" elements and that's where the similarities stop..

It when it come to the Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon stans it something like highlander there can only be one fantasy tv show no other
Folks can't help themselves, nuance is dead in society as a whole.
One is more politics and character driven, the other is the highest of fantasy with way more fantastical creatures and humanoids.
Both do very different things with their settings but the lay person rarely ever bothers to notice.

The evil elf was the best thing about the episode. The best thing they can do to reduce the blandness is to utilise the bad guys as main characters.
I think it was real ill advised not to give them the silmarillion rights man. Morgoth would have been a Thanos level character, and he had a deep roster of goonies.

Yeah Galadriel…I don’t know if is intentional but her character is starting to move the needle to annoying af for me
