Come on fam..this shyt ain't right...and u know it...its a free mixtape song and if we gonna attack him we might as well attack the MILLIONS of rappers famous to amatuer who been doin this for YEARS...

yeah, a free mixtape song, with a professionally made video, with 29 million youtube views. you know youtube pays out after 1 million views. they pay 1/3 of a cent. that doesn't sound like much, but after 29 million views, that's $95,700

Finesse sent them a cease-and-desist, they ignored it, and here we are

Man, this is how Hip Hop got started, rappers rhyming over other peoples music and got paid doing shows. If this is over with, the rap game is officially dead meaning no more fun just all business like other genres and we helped killed it meaning the artist and fans with some sucker moves. It's bad enough that mixtapes aren't really mixtapes and DJ's don't spin anymore. Even though rap is more business than it used to be it still has some fun to it but this lawsuit may kill it.

hip-hop got started by stealing entire beats and rhyming over them? i thought producers took samples and created their own beats out of them.

There might be. shyt you can buy fake "views" on shyt like fiverr. The only thing is these views bring ad revenue to youtube. And if your views dont bring the proper ad response (clicks, buys) then youtube going know somethings up.

Youtube is owned by google now and them boys dont play, they know whats going on.

nikkas used to just rap over dj made loops g...real talk..lol..

This. In fact, my older brother used to just rap over my moms b-sides (instrumentals for you younger heads), when I was little. But yea Lord Finesse is being facetious about this and he needs to chill and this is coming from a fan.

Lord Finesse got jerk for "Funk Soul Brother"

Don't seem fair to let another young white kid scam off his creativity

If Rostrum made money from youtube and datpiff

They should pay royalties

If Miller made money on the road doing the Kids mixtape, he need to get performance license from the beat makers

That's just basic business

Lord 's just trying to get his :yeshrug:
