How is LF gonna say this when him and his crew used tons of samples they didnt clear and either performed or made videos out of.

"@LordFinesseDITC: @ELGINDOTCOM not if you don't exploit other peoples music.. use your own.. & don't shoot videos to music you don't own #period""

Pretty much.

It just comes off as bitter. I have respect for Lord Finesse but it seems as if hes pissed he has to work for a white boy (Shady) and that some goofy white boy is buzzing in the underground and ending up on Sprite commercials.

Mac Miller is not the first rapper to freestyle over one of his beats....

funny how yall always criticize the "jew" for being money-hungy greedy b*stards..but here, yall are co-signing a dude trying to sue over a fukkin freestyle...not an album cut, not an officially released single...a fukkin freestyle...a freestyle....a fukkin freestlye....many of the greats started off rapping to other people's beats...Wayne has made a career off of it...a fukkin freestyle..suing someone off a fukkin freestyle...not a single, not an album..a fukkin freestyle..yall all watched your fav rappers rip beats, and have enjoyed it...but its Mac Miller the white kid versus a an old head..so yall getting upset over a fukkin freestyle....a freestyle

This is a bytch move. These old nikkas get on my nerve with their bullshyt.

Every Artist had preform a song that they did over somebody else's beat before. shyt ain't new.

This shyt LITERALLY been goin on forever in hip hop and anybody supporting this bytch move is on some wack shyt cause they don't like Mac Miller...

Rappers are making their careers off of other peoples work. We're living in an era where rappers are touring off mixtapes and raping older artists for their catalogs. Money is being generated.

I can see why LF is doing this.

Can't cosign it tho unless he paid for every sample he used on his albums.

Those 90's rappers got crushed by the RIAA for using samples. Theres a lot of tracks in vaults that never got released due to sample rights.

So, it's only right that if Finesse had to pay somebody, that he should get paid too.

Assuming he owns all the rights to the music Mac Miller used...

This. I don't really like Mac Miller, except for a few joints, namely Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza, ironically. :merchant:

Anyways, yeah this a bytch move, and I'm happy so many hip-hop legends/icons are NOT supporting Finesse on this one. Finesse and the DITC crew themselves dodged having to clear samples whenever they could, so this is hypocritical to the max.

Plus, it's a free song on a free mixtape, so I don't see Finesse winning this. On the same token, if he did, it would fukk up the mixtape game forever.

The whole situation reeks of bitterness and jealousy.
