C. Delores Tucker marched with MLK

She spoke out on the violence towards other black people that was/is prevalent in rap music
She spoke out against the way black women were potrayed in rap

She was old enough to be pac's mother

This dude called her a "mother fukker" in a song:scust:

That's was some real bytch ass shyt

Of course she didn't understand how some of the music was just an expression of what youths saw everyday
She didn't understand that most rappers weren't calling all black women hoes
And just speaking on the devious ones who fit the description

The average older black person didn't
My mother hated rap music
And thought it was ignorant

Still ain't no reason to call a older black lady a "mother fukker"

But then pac had the nerve to make "keep ya head up":gucci:

Pac in my top 3
But dude was a hypocrite like a mafukker:usure:
fukk you and Tucker. She was s c00n who aligned herself with white supremacists against blacks. Bill Bennett the cracker that she joined up with to try and take down rap, was a staunch racist and she knew it. You're up here whining about pac calling her a motherfukker when the devil she partnered with talked about aborting all black babies.

"You could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down."

:whoo:this discussion has gone all over the place, so let's try and get it back on track:

there was an article written in 2012 titled:
C. Delores Tucker, You Were Right. What You Predicted Has Come to Pass. - BlackandBrownNews.com (BBN)

it essentially co-signs everything her and others were saying WOULD HAPPEN TO OUR COMMUNITIES, happened.

regardless of what you may "FEEL" about tucker, her words were prophetic...
the turn hip hop culture took in the early 90's completely destroyed the momentum the civil rights created

yes the crack epidemic happened, and it changed our communities for the worse, true

but we were fighting that shyt with education and consciousness in our music, TV shows and even our fashion:

(we were wearing these T-shirts in elementary school - i bet white people hated this shyt!)

Ice Cube was not a brand new artist when he dropped DC.

Steady Mobbin and True to the game weren't really hits like that, it sold what it sold because he was already known from being the centerpiece of the biggest group in rap at the time. 2pacalypse was an actual debut from someone who at best was known for having a verse on Same Song.
Pac was on I Get Around.. that was a HUGE hit back in the day.. the movie he was in "Nothing But Trouble".. had an all-star cast, and he.. as well, as DU were in the movie..

stop acting like nobody knew who dude was back then.. DU was a huge group.. video he was in, was all over MTV, BET, The Box, etc// people knew who he was.. :martin:

but, he wasnt rapping like that before.. thats why his debut wasnt received so well.. dont try to rewrite history.. i remember.. i got the tape when it dropped, and was in the Bay.. cats were more into RBL Posse, and local Bay acts.. to say no one knew who Pac was other than Same Song.. is a blatant lie..

and, Cube already had solo success before DC even dropped.. AMW debuted at 19, and was gold 2 weeks later.. you just in here making sh!t up..

Tupac while talented was a reckless fukkboy like many young rappers in thier 20s

The most ridiculous thing is hailing this dude like he was some historical philosopher because he died young is just comedy.

The truth was he was mostly a young idiot who got himself killed and put in danger when there was no need for him to do so...he was a walking Darwin award

In the sky
Yeah it was extra sucker shyt. I look at Pac sideways as hell for some of the shyt he was doing.

In all honesty Tupac was kinda conflicted but he sold out for fame IMO.

:rudy:you can tell when non-blacks chime in on here

go back and listen to 2pacolypse now - Track 1 is called "young black male" :what:

Pac was clearly a conflicted man like many of us, he was an intellectual but was human

he liked that street shyt, money, and women...didn't mean he wasn't intellectual.

stop it....the regression of the gains from the civil rights of the 60's along with the crack epidemic is what gave birth to alot of what you saw in 1970s Blaxploitation movies (which also happened to foreshadow many themes of gangsta rap), that would later set the stage for HipHop culture to rise. Not Gangsta Rap.

Bought stock in Time Warner to talk shyt at shareholders meetings-

She went out her way to have dude condemned and this way before the lyrics going against her.

Seems like she was a pawn or had an adgenda.

"instead of trying to help a nikka, you destroy a brother?" is totally relevant...
these specific acts wreak of that whole black feminists acting in the capacity of a watchdog for white supremacy

If she was genuinely upset over it then aight cool, i understand her criticism and respect her right to voice her concerns

BUT if she just acting as an agent then :camby:

also, marching w/ the late great Dr King doesnt mean you care about tangible progress for black ppl in america/globally and doesnt place you above critique either

Well ofcourse..Pac stans are like the cult of Trump, cant tell them nothing about their idol.

I was never comfortable with the whole Delores Tucker thing.
This was Pac's moment and he blew it. So much for all the dyck riders acting as if dude was righteous.
Pac contradicted and insulted every noble act of his. Dude was all over the place.
