asking what ur point is with that paragraph. That the original man was white  ?
No. It is believed that the more ape-like ancestors of homo-sapiens were covered in body fur and thus needed light colored skin to absorb more vitamin-d.

This could be false if these ancestors got enough vitamin D from their natural diet like the Inuit's do with their diet that is heavy in fatty fish.

do you have a link to your leading theory?
daze you know I just make sh1t up on here. :shake: You guys have over 20 random facts and theories in this very thread... but NOT one person says "wheres the link". that sh1ts funny

Human skin color - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Must be making it up; because the viewpoint is usually different than the HL groupthink.

But I really just say the truth.

Skin pigmentation in humans evolved to primarily regulate the amount of ultraviolet radiation penetrating the skin, controlling its biochemical effects

they're referring to the production of vitamin D.

Well, I went to HS in a racist Texas town..... And I basically have always been the way I am now. So of course in biology the crakker was trying to say this to make a point (which is the real reason y i asked ur point).. .and I was like :childplease:

"sir, the original man was black. the creatures we evolved from also had darker skin due to eating habits, and sun rays... similar to Alaskan natives."

I don't give a fukk where you grew up. You're still a fukking retard.

Did I not say this?

The fukk do any of those links have to do with Vitamin D production? You posted wikipedia and you didn't understand what "controlling it's biochemical effects" meant. It meant controlling the amount of vitamin D intake from UVB rays.

Melanin controls the amount of ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun that penetrates the skin by absorption. UV radiation can assist in the production of vitamin D.

I was saying it's linked.

I think if you look over my post you'll see the truth on this particular part of the topic...... But of course I'm not "retarded" as you say; I know the truth about y ur mad and it has nothing to do with what I said about skin color adapting to intense sunlight irradiation.

You just became irrational and angry or a simple conversation. I think I'll stop responding to you now sir.

I'm not angry at all dude. Skin color didn't "adapt" because of radiation. First you tell me skin color adapted because of radiation, then you tell me that it adapted to regulate vitamin D intake. It isn't both. We're having a really dumb argument just because you think I'm some racist "crakkka". :russ:

So to summarize your beliefs

1. Skin color adapted due to damage caused by radiation

and

2. Melanin and UV rays are linked to controlling vitamin D intake

You're wrong on point 1, point 2 is actually the reason skin color "adapted"

Also, any neurological differences between ethnic groups are caused by environmental pressures not fukking skin color. This is the same logic that racist white people used during the age of scientific racism.
