no, just that in general in takes time. for the eskimos skin to change, there needs to be a change in their lifestyle that is causing them to get less vitamin D in their diet

a lot of these 'selective pressures' we talk about are how nature affects a species that is basically struggling for survival in a very harsh and competitive environment. our technology has removed us humans from a lot of that. we have suntan lotion and vitamin D supplements (among other things). so the pressures to go one way or the other aren't as much of a factor. our tech has also allowed peoples from all over the globe to not be isolated and mix it up. so many modern humans are already have the benefit of having a mix of traits that evolved in different environments. basically we're evolving into a globetrotting species that can live anywhere in the world, as opposed to our ancestors that were more specialized to a particular environment

our modern tech has removed many of these natural pressures. in general people can get their vitamin D from many different sources. that being said, these changes take many generations to happen. plus many modern humans (especially here in the Americas) are already the product of 'different' peoples mixing

1. I wasn't part of many of the convo's already discussed, my bad I get the whole food thing and vitamin D thing, it makes sense to me. It was just a question someone asks when they don't have the info, such as myself.

2. Portal 2 is mad fun. 4.99 i was all over that shyt. Plus the kids love it to and it get's them thinking rather than fuking around on mincraft.

You all keep asking stupid questions...I don't now how many times we have to say that it's an extremely slow process of change... it's equivalent to saying "so we should expect to see monkeys evolve into humans soon right?" And they do get it from their diet.

how is that a stupid question? Considering at the time i didn't take into account food and vitamin D it apeared to be a valid question. Daze23 also pointed out the similar latitudes <> similar environments. Also something i hadn't thought about.

Question: When you talk to people do you always carry over conversations you've had with other people into new conversations? You and I have never discussed this, in fact i've stayed pretty damn far from these types of threads, but now i'm asking a legitimate question and it's "stupid"? Answer, don't answer either way is cool with me but don't get all "stupid" because someone asked a question, that's in and of itself is stupid. I do appreciate the knowledge dropped in here because as i said, i was previously unaware.

I know it can be hard to fathom someone askign a question without an agenda in HL but it does happen.

I apologize if I'm kinda short-tempered with this issue. but it's only because 9 times out of 10 (my herp derp statistics, deal with it) when someone has one of these "honest questions about evolution", it turns out to be a troll question that they were hoping didn't have an answer. I cringe whenever I see one of these "riddle me this, atheists" threads. it always gets prefaced like it's an honest question, but then no one wants to hear the answer

I like to have honest conversations about these topics. the problem is the person on the other side just wants say "umad" and get one some cool guy shyt, like we're in another sub-forum

The reason the Bible is important is because of how this world is run and the historical fingerprint its had on the World. You cannot have one without the other in this type of discussion. In my original thread that was Locked - It went into deep detail into what & where white people came from...terms, mythology etc...it contrasted heavily with what we believe now.

The Western Culture believes the Jews are & was always White...and are the 'chosen people'...thus they are allotted land & protection from the British & U.S. Gov. This breeds racial 'superiority' and racial 'inferiority' among the white & black race. Most Christians, Jews, & Muslims believe this despite scripture debunking this thought. (now according to even Jews, scientifically they believe that the merging of two species happened with the Neanderthals/Angels.)

On the science side...it is now known that a segment of Africans have 0% of Neanderthal DNA (thus they had to be some part of the original people who wrote those text in the bible if the Jewish archaeologist believes what his findings tell him.)

But if the original people who wrote the bible & believed on it wasn't white...then who are these Jewish people of today & what do they really stand for?

Its a very deep worm hole..that vexes the mind and throws everything we know or have been taught off course.

I believe in the Bible, but not like mainstream Christians. I am beginning to believe it has been interpreted wrong purposely.

Yea, politically it really is man. But the thread wasn't just about Jewish people.

In a Spiritual sense the thread gets really deep & somewhat frightening when you think about it. It does put in perspective what is going on in this world...when you take a step back and look at everything.


Its a wild thing...the thread came really hard because it dug into the actual meaning of terms, their old mythology that they believed in before Christianity and it was crazy how it all lined up with the same Neanderthal/Angel-human merge scientifically & Biblically.

Some people couldn't accept it even though it was nothing but historical facts & definitions that just put 1 + 1 together. I stated that it was a controversial topic but it still didn't help in the continuing of discourse.
