no you said it was the "leading theory"

save all that "umad" shyt. it's weak sauce

.. .... lol, so he says fukk 3 or four times, calls me all sorts of sh1t, basically makes him self look like a fool w no self control ---- I'm supposed to respond with which one of these two interpretations of his current emotional state:
or
:umad:

Colloquium Paper: Human skin pigmentation as an adaptation to UV radiation

And about me calling it a leading theory..... here is the exact qoute without a blackking spin on it------- " The leading theory is that skin color adapts to intense sunlight irradiation to provide partial protection against the ultraviolet fraction that produces damage and thus mutations in the DNA of the skin cells"

I hate to do this to yall... I just wanted to say my opinion, as you guys were allow to say your opinion.. but no- I have to quote the evolutionary scientist just to back my sh1t up.

"One cline was generated by high UVR near the equator and led to the evolution of dark, photoprotective, eumelanin-rich pigmentation. The other was produced by the requirement for UVB photons to sustain cutaneous photosynthesis of vitamin D3 in low-UVB environments, and resulted in the evolution of depigmented skin."

This is exactly what me and daze have been saying this entire fukking thread, what is wrong with you? Seriously? What the hell is wrong with you?

I cuss like a sailor, it doesn't mean I'm mad.

Also, any neurological differences between ethnic groups are caused by environmental pressures not fukking skin color. This is the same logic that racist white people used during the age of scientific racism.
I didn't say it was caused by skin color... I clearly made a link to what I said the neurological differences are.

I want to mention that on most other threads, people were trying to say there were no neurological differences that effected anything. .

what in that link backs up your "quote"?

I can find plenty of quotes in that link that back up exactly what we've been saying

And I don't know if it's just me placing the connotation on the word, but whenever I see folks use the word "mutation" around here they're usually attempting to use it in a negative way, as if white people are "mutants" because of their skin color. Not implying that Brown pride was using it in that manner but I've seen other less educated folks using it in that way lately.

There are things about what you all have been saying that I agree with.. I wasn't talking about those things.

Compile that link with basically everything else on the topic.. is why it's the leading theory...

which I assume is why wikipedia on the THE human skin link says....... "the leading theory" is......

or I could just be :troll:

You can figure it out.

In terms of time how many generations in a human would you expect to see a black family turn white? Fyi im not trolling just curiois.

I hypothesize it would take at 60 generations to go from wesley snipes to mcaulay caulkin

Based on how pedigree dog breeders sometimes have to go for 20 generations to develop a trait and since human beings are far more complex and the breeding isnt structured it would take 3 times as long

natural selection produced a color on humans that made them naturally less fertile, with weaker bones, not able to scavenge for free radicals, more difficult to deal with the environment and sun, looking worse on average when aging, certain cancers, NTM there many things that are negatively effected by a melanin deficiency.
I dont get what youre saying..i doubt you know either..What is clear is that your limited grasp of science and logic is really hurting you

:lolbron: @ scavenge for free radicals..do you know what a free radical actually is ??

Plus Pineal gland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

http://book.neurosurgeon.org/?defaultarticle=&defaultnode=2150&layout=22 - basic science.

Anthropologists have studied the racial and geographical variations in human anatomy very extensively. Unfortunately, neurosurgeons have not paid much attention to the racial or ethnic differences in neuroanatomy
Racial differences have been noted in the rate of pineal calcification as seen in plain skull radiographs.
:pachaha: Thats because there arent any

There is soooo much that I'm leaving out because I don't want to search all around the internet, but you get the point.
Point isn't that it was a bad mutation, but that it was a mutation that had physical, including neurological (brain) differences. History and science show that some of those genetic variations were negative to say the least.
:russ:

Wow ...ive never seen anyone contort such simple wikipedia information like that...Lawd help us all if you stumbled into something really technical.

Ill explain it to you in sesame street language..Every human being needs Vitamin D..at northern latitudes there is less sunshine than the equator so to absorb a beneficial dose of sunshine their skin had to adapt and produce less melanin....its not that complicated.

The only white people in danger from free radicals are the ones living in the tropics....

so how does one explain eskimos? They been in northern climate weather for some 1000 years and they look more or less like chinese mexicans. :heh: wouldn't we expect to see more "white" in them at this point?

:manny: They hardly get any sunshine so they get it from their food..vitamin D is fat soluble and the eskimo diet was very high in fat

I read somewhere that nowadays theyre getting ricketts ,depression and osteoporosis since they have abandoned their ancestral diet and they cant getting enough vitamin D from our food.

:ehh:
so ideally then since they aren't getting it form their food now we should slowly start to see more white eskimos?

:yeshrug: If they make it that far...all the videos ive seen of the reservations they all look :flabbynsick: ..

They really weren't built for the white mans food and alcohol....its a tragic confirmation of darwins theory

You know all of this stuff makes some sense (which one is it Vitamin D or UV Rays) but with this logic - by now I should have seen a Black person turn white (naturally of course - MJ). Just don't absorb Vit D :heh: & our skin will do it for us.

I like to use common sense when science doesn't have all the answers.

None of these guys can answer the original idea/question. :youngsabo:

Why is it people on Earth that do not have Neanderthal DNA? (which happen to be the darkest, most natural people on the planet)
Why is it that black people have kinky hair?
Why is it that Europeans have the MOST Neanderthal DNA? Up to 8% in some cases.
Why is it that both Neanderthals & Europeans have stringy, red/blonde hair?
Why don't Asian people or Inuits have blonde/red hair?

Until these questions are answered I will go with the Neanderthal Theory.

thanks for playing :pachaha:

You all keep asking stupid questions...I don't now how many times we have to say that it's an extremely slow process of change... it's equivalent to saying "so we should expect to see monkeys evolve into humans soon right?" And they do get it from their diet.
