244 Years of unpaid Labor doesn't get to be just "Written off" like some Tax Exemption in American's Check Book. If you didn't have the money for the Slaves then? Especially since Anti-Black Racism is still apart of the American Life for Black People. If Italian Immigrants who weren't citizens got Reparations for Lynching then there is literally no excuse.
