Wayne has done enough T cement himself. He did fall off but I could post a boat load of material from his prime that still holds up. When he was in his zone, he was above and beyond his peers and made it look easy.

he's been wack since 2009 :yeshrug:

He's currently on a WOAT run in terms of projects :dead:

Wayne has been trash since 09-10 :snooze:

your not saying anything anybody isn't already aware of as usual .

Make that 2008. And no lie was told

Harsh realities :mjcry:

I haven't been a fan of Wayne since before he technically became "good".

I loved the HB's, I loved TBIH...then all of a sudden (Gillie) he started biting Jay Z and becomes this lyrical east coast darling...I got off the train right around C2.

Not to say he hasn't had good verses or songs since then but I just don't think it was a natural progression from shyt like this:

Like if Juvie all of a sudden started trying to rap like Nas I'd be like...:what:

Exactly

I like Carter 1/2...but as a fan since 1997, you can't tell me he didn't have a ghostwriter for this period :dead:

Even if he didn't he was obviously trying to sound like somebody else, traded the grove/twang for playschool punchlines. People rewarded him for it until we got to things like "I'm on like the television".

The Booth never fails. Now everybody is trying to say they were on board the Wayne hate train first. :mjlol:

"I thought he was trash back in 2011."

"Nah fam, I was telling nikkas on the block dude was garbage back in 2008."

"Son, dude been garbage since 1999, wobble dee wobble dee."

"nikka, I was in the hospital cleaning the toilets when Wayne was born and he came out the womb garbage and told his mother that."

"Me, Malcom and Martin had a discussion on how wack that nikka was in 1963. :ehh:"

As a wayne stan, he still got in in him somewhere deep inside :patrice:

There are verses he's put out post carter 4 (Where his material took a fall) that are actually fire :ehh: shyt like M's for example
No project has been OVERALL good though aside from SFTW2 and FWA. Those were a solid 7 imo.

His feature verses really lacking tho:francis: Been a while since I've heard wayne renegade a track.

I think the problem is the yes men and the lawsuit now. His verses on Believe Me were :ohlawd: I have hope for C5

Only thing I'll give y'all is that Wayne needs to show maturity in his future releases but we can't judge him from 2013 to current cause birdman has even allowed him to drop music but this was flames

Listening to this now I kinda hear that Drake tent team cadence and vibe.

I heard that new DJ Khaled joint again today and Wayne is just.....awful:snoop:

He's almost like a caricature. A joke. Its almost like he can get away with anything just because he's "Lil' Wayne".

Whatever he says, the masses are gonna :krs: , specifically the young masses who see themselves in Lil' Wayne.

Ya see, Lil' Wayne is a man-child. This is why he'll never be respected and seen in the same light as a Jay and Nas. He doesn't have a manly vibe/energy about him at all. Everything about Lil Wayne screams "little boy". At 30+ he's still acting like a little kid:

This shyt appealed to us when we were younger but now those of us that grew up with Wayne are now in our 30s and we see through the BS.

Personally, I was never really into Wayne, but even the most die-hard Wayne fans I know are pretty much :scust:when it comes to Wayne now that we're older.

I was NEVER into Wayne. Back in 2007 - 2009, I was rocking with Rick Ross, Mixtape Drake and Wiz Khalifa instead. That nikka always struck me as corny with all that giggling and laughing and nonsense on his songs. Now yall in yall late 20s and early 30s and see how corny the nikka is.
