:stopitslime: @PhonZhi why don't you focus on the SOURCE of lil Wayne's lack of growth and development as not only an artist but as a man

Which is this pseudo OG right chea:
GelMe.gif

How da hell you expect WAYNE to mature when the only father figure he has known the bulk of his life has been this damn their 50 year old muthaohuka with Tats on his face still claiming blood gang...
:mindblown:

Unlike Juvie..turk..mannie and BG and the majority of the young money camp whom were able to carve out their own identity

Wayne has always been defined by his relationship with Baby

Who was never a real OG to begin with....Baby saw him as just his "lil n1gga" to support

The Nas Jay z comparisons are flat out wrong...because they always were surrounded by wise old heads to guide them in all aspects of being a man whether it was the streets of in their art or the field of commerce......

Jay Z had OGs in the street like Calvin Klien and Danny diamonds and in the legal world like Lyor Cohen

Nas had Ogs like ILL Will and Super Ed and in the business aspect he had Steve Stoute

Who da fukk Wayne had?!!!!

It surely wasn't his grimey weak azz friend Cortez :camby:

Look the Apple don't fall far from the tree...Wayne is a product of a mishandled upbringing personally and financially

Yeah just looking at him now, through the eyes of a grown man...and I see him flashing that same dumb ass smile hes been flashing for the past 10-15 years WHEREVER HE GOES...its just hard to respect him. Then you see all the tattoos on his face and how unapologetic he is with his lifestyle choices, its cringe worthy fam.

Now as far as rap goes....I have no qualms about respecting him as a rapper from 2005-2008. I was a huge hip hop fan, chronic marijuana smoker and his rhymes was a perfect fit (pause) with the lifestyle I led. Still think he was blessed by God Himself with his talent level, cant speak for him nowadays however, I do believe he has fell off even though I don't check for him.

I just see a fool whenever I see little wayne. He needs to make some difficult grown man decisions/changes in his life. Hes still a father ( I bet all those women who allowed him to ejaculate inside of them probably are starting to feel the regret as they have to be looked at as disgusting human beings letting that man father their children).

*has never listened to a Lil Wayne album*

He's had some nicely produced joints that I would vibe to when I heard them, but i never took time to intentionally listen to 60 minutes of this nikka.... I been on the "What's so great about this goblin?" train since 99 :win:

I heard that new DJ Khaled joint again today and Wayne is just.....awful:snoop:

He's almost like a caricature. A joke. Its almost like he can get away with anything just because he's "Lil' Wayne".

Whatever he says, the masses are gonna :krs: , specifically the young masses who see themselves in Lil' Wayne.

Ya see, Lil' Wayne is a man-child. This is why he'll never be respected and seen in the same light as a Jay and Nas. He doesn't have a manly vibe/energy about him at all. Everything about Lil Wayne screams "little boy". At 30+ he's still acting like a little kid:

This shyt appealed to us when we were younger but now those of us that grew up with Wayne are now in our 30s and we see through the BS.

Personally, I was never really into Wayne, but even the most die-hard Wayne fans I know are pretty much :scust:when it comes to Wayne now that we're older.

You actually have a point. I'm practically the same age as Wayne and I'm not sure if he just got wack but his music doesn't appeal to me anymore. It really does feel like I grew up and he didn't. shyt is strange.

Yeah I downloaded one of Wayne's mixtapess like 5 years ago...seemed like every other word was fukk this fukk that..no real clever content at all...

I'm really glad places like OKC and the Heat kicked his ass out...

One second his playing the race card. The next second he's adamently saying that racism doesn't exist..

What a clown as nikka:camby:

Wayne is one of my personal favorites, but his verse on that song is inexcusable. I even enjoy that song for what it is, but I cringe visibly every single time I hear that verse

Wayne had a strong run and (for better or worse) has been a huge influence on current hip hop artists from Drake to Future to all the Lil's and several others. (I'm actually kind of mad at him for that but props to him regardless). I enjoyed his music from The Block is hot through Carter 3. After that, I wasn't really checking for him like that.

Lil Wayne fell off for sure but I don't feel like his new music being wack makes his old music wack. His run was epic and his place in hip hop is cemented from a musical perspective. His persona and business decisions are questionable, and he carries himself like a spoiled grown ass kid sometimes but Wayne gave us classic mixtapes and 2-3 really good to great albums.

Carter 2 was his peak. Wayne's flow is understated, from Carter to Carter 2 he had mastered it along with the mixtapes in that time period.
