Libetarianism will never exist in its ideal form because nothing thats human exists in an ideal form without causing the suffering of others who in turn band together for war which cause compromises and a loss of ideals in favor of more inclusion.
Sure, we aim far and land somewhere in the middle.

Many people dont understand that taking the extreme position is a means of ending up closer to your goal in compromise.:smugdraper:

I'm saying there is no "power" in private business alone.

How can you say that? Private businesses have nearly absolute power over their employees, and through their actions and decisions they can influence the rest of the population in major ways.

"Absolute power over their employees"...:patrice: who voluntarily choose to work for them....

I think we may be defining 'power' differently.

But even then, as long as its within the law, I have no problem with them exercising this 'power'.

They still have absolute power over their employees nonetheless.

Once you bring "law" into the situation then you are assuming there is government present :dwillhuh:

No one is suggesting anarchy, just minimal govt. with law enforcement being one of its functions.

If you want to go a step further, private law enforcement is on the table too :shaq:

Either way there is the rule of law.

Wanting minimal government is perfectly understandable.

But what do you think about having worker owned companies/cooperatives instead of privately owned companies?

Is there a super power in this world that has no government and can properly defend itself?

Again, no one here(as far as I know) is suggesting anarchy...

But since this is the angle you guys keep trying to take, ill just play along.:shaq2:

Your statement doesnt show that a super power govt. is needed, just that there isnt a super power without one... Do you think a nuclear nation without a govt. is defenseless?:usure:
You may be giving govt. far too much credit.
