Gettin' It In
Its either a 10/10 or its trash on here theres no inbetween
Like other people pointed out the movie went off the rails after the Bane/Batman fight. But it wasn't very good prior to that, either.
Batman retired because his girl died?
Turned Bane, who is a GOAT level comic villain, into a simp too.
Bane went out terrible. One of the WOAT deaths in any comic movie.
The whole "let's trap all the police underground"....just, terrible writing.
And at "it's still better than any MCU movie". No the fukk it's not. If you're telling me "TDKR" is better than "TWS", "Civil War", "Ironman", "Black Panther", etc. you're smoking rocks.
Fred.
I thought Bruce retired because the cops were on his ass harder than ever due to the Harvey cover up.
You're right about how Bane went out. Awful.
And no it's absolutely not better than any of the Marvel movies you just listed.
My gawd not the GOAT space movie since Kubrick was on the micBe my guest breh. I'm sure anything I gave a 6 too suffered the same things this did. Coincidentally, Interstellar may also be on that list
My gawd not the GOAT space movie since Kubrick was on the mic
I just...I just can’t take the slanderIs it? And him being a slave to Kubrick may have hurt that flick. Once again, a movie where the only interesting characters are the robots on the ship smh.
I just...I just can’t take the slander
Next you’re going to tell me inception was trash !
Interesting I would say inception started his slide, even tho it's a highly rated flick that movie was ironically all about an IDEA. I couldn't care less about the characters in that movie either.Nah I love inception. Like I said, for me, his slide started with Dark Knight Rises. So everything 2012-present has been really meh to me. He just seems to give so little shyt about making compelling characters or good dialogue. Everything is about the way the movie looks and its presentation and the craft behind the camera. And that's cool for some people; I'll never say Nolan is a bad director because that's just bullshyt. But I will say he's not making movies that appeal to me which are normally characters I give a shyt about and interesting dialogue. His movies now, more or less, are about ideas rather than people.
And I’ve heard that before and see where the argument comes from. I think Leo is doing enough work there to inform what probably isn’t in the script, if that makes any sense. His situation really grabbed me. That heartache from losing someone and wanting to constantly be in this world where that person still exists is heartbreakingInteresting I would say inception started his slide, even tho it's a highly rated flick that movie was ironically all about an IDEA. I couldn't care less about the characters in that movie either.
Initially that was the thought but Bruce admitted he hung it up because Rachel died and he blamed himself for it. It's weird the way the movie goes back and forth with his actual reasoning for hanging it up, which again, goes back to how sloppy it is
So he becomes Batman after a crimanal kills his parents and he stops being Batman after a criminal kills his love interest.
