Did some tracing back on my mother's family who are Moors from the Faal dynasty of Cayor and found some useful information that I've been seeking for a long time:
Maures Darmanko — Wikipédia
Couldn't grab this info before since by default english wikipedia pages pop up from my google searches, so I had to type Naari Kajoor (black moors) to get the French-Senegalese info. I don't know French so I'm relying on the translate feature.
I'll take the info with a grain of salt since I don't know how accurate all this info is but it matches up with some of the history I learned from some Senegalese Imam and marabout.
The dots are starting to connect
So a confederatin of Moors extending into Senegal is acknowledged by the french.
Who are youI just say what happens in my life. Yall mfs think this shyt is funny but its not.

From a German tapestry entitled "Wild Men and Moors" (13th century)
The Moors defending castle from what they considered "wild men."
I'm thinking Pagan white Iberians. Not sure.Good stuff,
1. who were the wild men, they are painted white, but where did they come from or reside?
Big 2x aka all night dwightWho are you
@KidStranglehold you need to a thread on the Horn. Your expertise is bar none with this shyt
Thanks but...
I asked many of you Somalis to help me with it but so far none have come up. I've always been very interested in the Somali role in the Indian Ocean trade(like the Swahilis) and I heard many Somalis say that Somali during that time colonized many islands in the Indian ocean. But again no Somali I had asked accepted to help. I especially ask because Somali info seems hard to come by.
