I hate this debate, yes there are people that are living reckless, but the majority are living the best they can, rent increases eating up majority of your check, plus bills, heaven forbid you have loans all that shyt adds up, you aren’t going to save your way into comfort with the way things are now

Caught a sale on ribeyes for $11 a pound and loaded up, prices are only going to go up. If you have a deep freezer fill it up now.

I cut them in half and vacuum seal them. Buy a bunch of non perishable food that you like eating anyway.
How long do vacuum sealed last on dried fruit and rice or things of that nature?

Gas is 10$ in over 30 countries has been for years
This is really the only thing I don't get. Like gas is one of those things that you have to buy regardless so I don't even look at the price I just purchase it. What am I gonna do walk:mjtf:

I know a gang of women living above their means with no rainy day fund at all.

It's gonna get real ugly for them if inflation keeps rising.
:francis:
Especially the ones that have to pay for the 93 gas... It's about to get real spooky out here

I don’t understand the panic, prices haven’t gone up that much. At most you’re spending $100 more a month on food and fuel.
Yeah that's the thing alot of people don't have that extra $100 or they're having to cut back on some luxuries to cove the increase. Either way they're being crushed even though most rational people would have started stacking after COVID exposed how fragile alot of people are living. A majority of this country is one bad day away from being homeless

That's understandable like a few have said I feel for those that are at the bottom but you also should be paying off debt as much as you can to keep that bear off your back. Delayed gratification sucks but it's worth it for situations like this. But I know it's frown upon in this consumerism heavy economy to pay stuff off they need us trapped in that cycle of debt. It's how the system actually keeps chugging along.:francis:
