:dead: @ you thinking some 1940's fighters that them old nikkas was handling would fair well with the fighters Tyson knocked out in the 80's/90's. move along with that shyt.
Dudes talking about resumes.

Bruh, this thread was about Tyson and his power vs Ruddock.
Now I gotta deal with shyt about where Tyson ranks on all-time lists.

I don't agree with you that Tyson is a Top 5 HW all-time because resume does matter in those arguments. But the very idea that Mike Tyson couldn't beat Gene Tunney....

Correct i said that the ref may stop it. But you get your ass up. No troll here. Mike didnt attempt to do shyt. He played around with that mouthpiece
:what: did you actually watch the fight breh. It was natural instinct on his part to even find the piece and get up. He was trying to get the piece in, try doing that with your equilibrium sent to all hell. It was conditioning that failed Mike the most in that fight though, he didn't quit/look for a way out.

I remember a black and white photo of Mike knocked out on the mat by his sparring partner a week before his loss to Buster. We all blew it off but after Buster knocked him out I remembered that photo and being like :ohhh:

He did get up, but he was also the equivalent of a drunk after sustaining those KO punches. Understanding was there but his mind wasnt right enough to help put it together physically.

:mjlol: at an out of shape guy getting hammered with a video game combo by a 240 lb + man after an already grueling battle (which should have ended earlier by KO:stopitslime:) and expecting him to get up like its all good. Its a testament to Mike that he was even able to get up, yet alone recognize he needed his mouth piece. He probably would have beat the count skipping it but again you could tell by the glassy look in his eye that thoughts were all types of scattered. The ref would have still called the fight either way. Roy Jones was the same way getting up from the Tarver KO punch.

Sounds famiilar, I wouldn't doubt it, Bobby Brown said he was up partying/drinking and etc with Mike past 3 am, the day of the fight.:wow:. The guy wasnt in shape. I'm surprised Mike lasted against Buster as long as he did, and still was able to KO him even though the ref was trippin.
