slippery slope..tyson is definitely more accomplished than riddikk bowe..but thats for another time :hubie:
Bowe an accomplished amateur and as a pro better wins, mainly HOlyfield x2.
ONly thing going against him was his reign might have been shorter than Tysons, but I would argue he showed more as a pro in Holyfield fightsthan Tyson ever did.

:dead: @ you thinking some 1940's fighters that them old nikkas was handling would fair well with the fighters Tyson knocked out in the 80's/90's. move along with that shyt.
Poor job at trying to change the narrative.
The question was accomplishment in the ring and ranking that, not who would win head to head.
Try to stay on topic.
I noticed you don't have the boxing knowledge to even try to argue or support your stance for Tyson in the pantheon of ATG heavyweights though

bowe struggled more with lesser fighters in his prime than tyson did...his reign, conditioning..tyson at least looked in shape in all but prolly 2 fights in his career..bowe was completely done by 30..tyson scared 2 nikkas out of their belts post prison by 30 lol and fought another 10 years..bowe should prolly have more losses tacked on to his record but lady luck was on his side (tubbs, mathis jr, both golota fights, zumbrum (this one was worse than mcbride) )

Its a question of what you value, higher peak and shorter reign or relatively longer reign but lower peak between the two for me.
Worst thing is I think Bowe could have been more special than Tyson as a HW champion if he would have been dedicated to the sport.
The way he outfought Evander on the inside, and beat him from the outside, it lets you know he was special, very special, threw it all away though.

basically bowe beating holyfield the first time is no different than douglas beating tyson..they were special one in a lifetime performances from where they all put it together and they never really reached that peak again..the last fight with holyfield he was lucky to win that one because holyfield had the hep..holyfield almost knocked him out..tyson had an era of domination and cleaned out his division before holyfield became a factor at HW..a long reign is more an example of consistency than a short one in most cases
