No lie, hitting a shot like this and momentarily changing the mood of entire country's crowd probably one of the best feelings in sports you can get.

I really hope soccer keeps gaining traction with the younger crowd in the US. We have the money to to poach top tier soccer minds and set up a club system like Europe with lower tier teams to train our athletes early. Would love to see us seriously compete on the international stage.
Facts. Imagine if an American breh hit a shot like that.

Messi is 5-7 150
Mbappe is 5-10 160
Dude from Croatia is 5-7 150

Most people are around those ranges but trying to be point guards in a league that's getting taller or WR's/DB's in a sport where if they fall short they're going to have some serious health issues.

The #1 thing stopping Americanowners from buying into the premier league more is relegation. No American owner wants to risk their investment by having their team get relegated.

:mjlol:how many teams you want .. you already have 9 out of the available 15 (this season). Need to check the next level down.

there are only 18 teams and some are impossible to buy now - Newcastlle, Man City, Tottehham

9 Premier League Clubs with Americanowners/Major Investors
  • Arsenal: Stan Kroenke & Kroenke Sports Group

  • Aston Villa: Wesley Edens

  • Chelsea: Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Hansjörg Wyss, Mark Walter

  • Crystal Palace: Palace Holdco LP and John Textor

  • Fulham: Shahid Khan

  • Leeds United: 49ers Enterprises

  • Liverpool: John W. Henry, Tom Werner (Fenway Sports Group)

  • Manchester United: The Glazer family

  • West Ham: Albert Smith

its only embarrassing if we feel embarrassed about it. not that big of a deal to be embarrassed about
This is like saying it's only embarrassing to pick your nose in public if you feel embarrassed about it! At a certain point whether you personally feel embarrassed about some shyt is irrelevant. Sometimes shyt is just embarrassing from the outside looking in. Especially in the context of being such a lame ass uncultured American that you can't even grasp the concept of people existing outside of your small American mindset.

i don't get the point of that post.

comparing a global sport to a national sport. it actually makes it seem like they are more bothered that americans don't care about the global sport.

Its the biggest sports market on planet Earth of course they are salty. That's billions of dollars left on the floor. It behooves FIFA to get America on board. Its the last frontier.

Soccer will never be important to me. Colonizer sport. European soccer fans are the most racist towards black people.

Argentina systematically killed off its black population. The pope, leader of the pedo Catholics is from Argentina

For people saying that the US isn't good at soccer are slightly mistaken...the US Women's Soccer team is GOAT tier but the Men's team well they're hot trash 🤷🏾‍♂️ and nobody takes them seriously for good reason, they suck lol.
So why couldn’t England beat them?:jbhmm:

Talk that shyt breh. It ain't the money people not seeing the value of the sport. Its goofy ass nikkas in the cities and neckbeards in the boonies. Everyone still want's to play concussion ball. :russ:

Also, not to mention BECAUSE of the global nature of the sports, the avenues to go and make a living as a professional are MUCH greater. Hell cats in the 2nd-3rd divisions in England can make six figures. The 2nd division in the USA cats are still playing semi-pro and working day jobs.
