The overall context as well. Cavs weren't getting him any real help at that time. OKC at least tried to surround KD and Westbrook but at the end of day I think just playing with westbrook finally convinced him to leave.
Um, they were beating Boston when LeBron inexplicably quit. Then rumors were abound that Delonte piped his mom. He then goes to South Beach and teams up with a former champ and top 3 player in D. Wade and brings Chris Bosh too.

Like KG and ray allen wasn't the first to do it

:hhh:

fukk him and everybody who believe him
PP, Ray & KG were never ever regarded as the best player(s) in the league. Of course Kobe haters would say Ray Allen and Pierce were better than Kobe, but everyone with a brain knew that was pure BS. KG was called the tin man, he had no heart.. They really overacheieved.

Durant shyt was Cornier, but at the end of the day Lebron and Durant both took the easiest possible path to a title

Lebron did it by getting together with 2 other superstars and taking paycuts as a unit

Durant did it by joining a team that had been to 2 straight finals

It's silly to assume that lebron wouldn't have gone the Durant route if he could have. Lebron was the best player in the league and he took less than a max deal cuz he wanted the best team possible

Just last year lebron said he would take a paycut again to play with melo wade and Chris paul

Durant did what he had to do

sure kd did what he had to do. no shame in admitting it took a lot less heart, risk, and responsibility than what bron did. that's why i find it nutty when people try to draw parallels between the two.

comparing lebron taking less money to kd hitching his career to a team already finals bound without him, doesn't come close to making these situations "the same".

Rob Parker is right, but it only highlights the problem, that was already the problem fans have been saying about the league:martin:

The fact these coward ass nikkas like Durant had to wait for Lebron to make a bytch move, before they could make a bytch move....shows the true cowardness of a t least half of the stars in this league.

They using Lebron to say,Lebron did it so its okay:whoa:....which goes to show they were never competetive, just like Lebron in the first place....at least Bron was bold enough to be a straight ho:martin:

I would definitley cheer for Lebron over Durant....ones a coward,ones a coward and a hypocrite:pachaha:

Here's the thing. LeBron QUIT against Boston. Boston was not thrashing them, Boston was not too much for them, he QUIT!! And then went and formed a superteam. A team that they said they'd been planning for years. That makes what LeBron did much worse, than what Durant did. They lost the series whether it was in 7 or 4, they lost. m

Its worst when that bytch made nikka was as close as he was to going to the Finals the year before....then joins the team that beat him:mindblown:

And to top it all off,Durant was one of the most vocal in questioning Lebrons competetiveness when he did what he did with Miami, and anybody else who would form superteams....then he goes and joins a team thats already a superteam without his weak ass:laff:

Its age of the core and quality at the time of creation. Youve gotta admit there's a big difference between a 31 year old garnett, a 32 year old ray, and a 30 year old Pierce vs a 26 year old lebron, a 26 year old bosh and a 29 year old wade.

Plus at the time wade and Lebron were both top 3 to 5 players in the nba. Bosh was like top 10 to 15.

The Boston big 3 was great but none of them where top 3 players at that time and they were considered reaching the end:manny:. Thats why they are looked over imo. 26 is too young to be forming Voltrons:hubie:

People routinely forget Bosh was averaging 24 and 11 -and single handedly got his team to the offs- when he got recruited to Miami.. 24 and fukkin 11!! Pau didnt even average that ever.

Damn right he was top 10..
Bron joined a stacked deck.. he is the anti Jordan for sure.

If Lebron hadn't done what he did the NBA would have been predictable and boring. The NBA needed a villain and Lebron took that role.
