Um, they were beating Boston when LeBron inexplicably quit. Then rumors were abound that Delonte piped his mom. He then goes to South Beach and teams up with a former champ and top 3 player in D. Wade and brings Chris Bosh too.
Boston whooped his ass
Bosh had already signed to the Heat before Lebron

Every super team of the past was put together by a GM/owner. Now that a player does it it's taboo. 96-98 Bulls were a super team. But the GM did it so it's cool. 04 Lakers were a super team and lost a Championship. 80s showtime was a super team. 08 Celtics were a super team. If I'm not mistaken, the Celtics won a ring in the 80s and were gonna get Len Bias in the draft. If LeBron, a free agent, went to any .500 team in 2010 they would have won rings. He shifts the balance no matter where he went. The teams he's won rings with had a combined 1 championship in almost 75 years of existing. Everything will be fine :heh: Lakers and Celtics have a combined 30+ championships.
He had a hard time winning a ring with 2 all stars so what the fukk makes you think he would have won one with a 500 team? :mjlol:

Pau's career high is 20 PPG... Boshs was 24 and 11.. thats not even mentioning Wade or Allen..

:martin:

East is so much weaker so those stats are embellished while Pau's aren't. Isn't that right?

Wanna compare Pau/Odom's playoff numbers during their ring runs to Wade/Bosh's during their championship runs? :sas2:

sure kd did what he had to do. no shame in admitting it took a lot less heart, risk, and responsibility than what bron did. that's why i find it nutty when people try to draw parallels between the two.

comparing lebron taking less money to kd hitching his career to a team already finals bound without him, doesn't come close to making these situations "the same".

"They both put themselves in a position to get a ring in the easiest way possible"

Do you dispute that?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Player salaries are to blame.

You can still make 20 million a year without staying with your team.

It's the reason Chris Paul might leave.

One and done college players are flooding the NBA.

Teams tanning.

Brooklyn making horrible trades.

There are a lot of reasons why the NBA is trash and to pin in on one player is dumb.

And nobody was complaining about taking games off when star players were getting hurt.

There is no comparison you slack jawed fakkit.

You have no understanding of cause and effect, do you? They don't have to be the exact same thing to be correlated. LeBron started the trend of teaming up with superstars and building superteams and Durant took it a step further. You could argue that Boston started it but, they were all over 30 at the time. LeBron's decision to join up with two other stars in their 20s created a paradigm shift that had ripple effects across the league. If Miami doesn't come together, KD doesn't go to Golden State years later.

Nah bruh he should of been able to win with just bosh but he had to have wade on top of that a player that was better then him in my opinion

What Kd did would be equivalent to Lebron going to Boston the year he was a free agent

Boston was over the salary cap so that wasn't an option for LeBron.

Given the actual options at the time, did LeBron not take the easiest possible path to a ring?

It's a yes or no question

The biggest difference between lebron and kd was, lebron left cleveland to form a team to beat boston while KD left to join golden state instead of trying to beat them.

if lebron is a beta KD is a delta male

No the Thunder could've and would've beaten he warriors. Durant left Because goldenstate players were his friends.

Just like Lebron left because he wanted to play with his friends wade and bosh in Miami.

Fax. This wack trend wouldn't have started If it wasn't for Lebron. Bron won cheap championships in his prime by joining two other players in their primes :hhh:

Imagine Bean, MJ or Magic joining up with their conference rivals for cheap rings:hhh:
Bean was already with Shaq and Gasol

Magic was with Kareem and Worthy:sas2:

The only difference is they had the fortune of already being together
