Ever since Jordan retired, the entire sports media has been on a campaign to make sure we all "know" nobody will ever be that great again and they've run smear campaigns that most politicians would be proud of. Even Boston doesn't run ones that well when a guy leaves town (see the cases of Johnny Damon, Terry Francona, and Manny Ramirez). They turned on lebron when he came down here to Florida because he stood a realistic chance of reaching that type of success. They feared that he would sabotage their sappy narrative and they've been on this quest ever since.

fukk you talking about. the media is desperate for LBJ to be the next MJ, that's why they compare him every chance they get. They compare him at the same ages, seasons, etc all that shyt. The guy they didn't want to be MJ was Kobe, but they were forced to compare him because he played just like him and had success like him.
