Watching the Finals makes me OK with the prospect of Trae if dude even has the slightest chance of having a Steph Curry like impact.

We were 1 pick away :mjcry:
We were one pick away from a rookie Steph with ankle issues in a league before 50 3s a game was the status quo.

We weren't 1 pick away from a developed Steph and supporting cast of Klay and Durant.

:manny:

I understand what your saying, I'm just trying to keep us grounded.:manny:

We really missed out on Derozan. No matter what ppl may think of him, surely we can all agree he would've been a better selection than Jordan Hill :francis:

Alas, that was damn near 10 years ago. Hopefully we get it right this time around.

Steph was cold as a rookie. 18/5/6 with 2 steals on 46/44/89 splits.

No telling what D'Antoni could have done with him back then or how he would have developed him. :damn:

Mikals gotta be our guy right?? Frank at the 1, tim at the 2, Mikal at 3, at the 4 an 5 is where it gets tricky depending on who else we pick up:lupe:KP need to be at the 5 though and get some back to the basket moves too

Hopefully :sadcam:

I dont want to get too attached to any one prospect ( :dame:), but Mikal just checks off so many boxes man. I'd be disappointed if we at least didnt get the chance to either pick or pass on him, I can live with going with someone else that the brass might feel has higher upside or is a superior talent, but it would suck if we didnt even have the chance to select him at all :francis:

Kyrie Irving can be a free agent in 2019 and the Boston Celtics may retain Terry Rozier until they receive a commitment from Irving.

Rozier is scheduled to be a restricted free agent in 2019 as well.

"I think they're scared," said Chris Mannix. "I think they're scared and should be scared to some degree of Kyrie Irving walking in 2019. I know he had a great year, but you know there are people in Cleveland that will tell you that the Knicks should be considered a real threat for Kyrie Irving. Because Kyrie had talked about it, about playing with the Knicks with some players in that Cleveland locker room from what I was told.

"You know things can change. Obviously you go to Boston and you become the face of the franchise. You're on a winning team. Maybe the mindset has changed significantly?"

Shams Charania replied to Mannix's assertion with the expectation from Irving that he would be with the Celtics over the long-term.

"I know Kyrie Irving's mindset when the trade happened was 'Boston is my home for the foreseeable future.'"
