We still got that 2 guard stashed in Europe right?

Ognjen Jaramaz, I hope he's on the summer league roster I mean they call Layberie every year so why not. With our guard logjam and the fact that he seemed super raw, he'll probably stay stashed but there was a baseline there where I could see a path to the nba. Big for PG, North/South playstyle, good instincts and aggressive defense; but his skills all need development so summer league will be a good place to see where he's at.

Keeping the books open for next summer and the summer after is gonna be crucial. Simmons and Jalen were just on a podcast speculating that NY was the only logical destination when he’s done in GS. You gotta think his relationship with his manager (huge Knicks fan) makes it a bit more believable. They gotta know him winning one in NY would clean the stench off the GS rings immediately.

We were one pick away from a rookie Steph with ankle issues in a league before 50 3s a game was the status quo.

We weren't 1 pick away from a developed Steph and supporting cast of Klay and Durant.

:manny:

I understand what your saying, I'm just trying to keep us grounded.:manny:
I know you are trying to lessen the blow
But steph in dantonis system would of been insane. Not to mentiob when you add amare and melo in to the mix

Im pretty sure we coulda moved up to the 5 pick but the knicks didnt wanna give up wilson chandler:yeshrug:

Typical knick shyt tho

Why would the Knicks give up anything when there's the opportunity to acquire him for nothing?

At the time he became available, the only way they could've gotten Kyrie was via trade. And you had fans, especially in this thread that did not want to give up Frank over Kyrie.

And if you're referring to the future (summer of '19), and the Knicks somehow land Kyrie. Do you think they actually keep Frank, or do they relegate him as a backup or role player?

So, considering Kyrie's health issue which had him sidelined this year which would have made it a wash would have been worth it considering we may have a chance at him in a year?

Really, breh?

- If the Knicks traded up in the Curry draft, it woulda been for Rubio. That was the big rumor, Rubio trying to con his way to the Knicks (revisited by some Luka Doncic articles ironically). Mocks at the time had Jordan Hill to GS because Monta Ellis was there already. That may be why the Knicks didn't have much of a back-up plan when Steph got scooped up.

- The Knicks have already used Frank as a combo guard and are willing to look at Trae Young and Sexton (they're going BPA fam), so signing Kyrie and moving Frank to the 2 isn't very controversial as a concept.

- The Cavs wanted KP for Kyrie:
Cavs want Porzingis in Kyrie Irving deal

No facts breh only emotions and blind hate for these arguments:mjgrin:

Now imagine if we would’ve traded for him and now with the injuries everyone would’ve been clowning us.

they wouldn't even acknowledge that the surgery is a circumstance from him breaking his knee cap in 2015 and was inevitable, it would be "typical Knicks shyt" :banderas:
