Mahinimi before the injury had the best PnR rim protection numbers in the league...not close to as good last season but he made it on the floor in serviceable fashion unlike our albatross at C :manny:

Picture getting Mikal at 9 and having pick 15...even if Lonnie, Knox and Zhaire are gone come away with someone like Troy Brown and just have obnoxious amounts of wing span and defensive tenacity. Frank/Brown/Mikal/KP/Mahinimi until we can replace him.

You've got me stumped. Only stashed big I can recall is Layberie who low key has shown some improvement but looks like bench fodder.

that Lee to washington trade is the best option for us. I don't like taking back Mahinmi's contract especially since we have a lot of money tied up in Noah and possibly Kanter if he opts in, you're looking at having Mahinmi for 2 more yrs. But if we can get the 15th pick for Lee that would be a crucial part of our future.

You're looking at Robert Williams, Zhaire Smith and even Miles or Lonnie walker still being available at that spot.

If we can somehow walk away with Mikal and a Robert Williams this draft, I would be ecstatic going into next season with our young guys
