i mean in a perfect world, butler would be our third option
hes a damn good third option
kd is a superstar but he said in his own word that he isn't is a leader.
i'd prefer not to have himhere
He couldnt get the job done in okc with westbrook in a media friendly city with laid back fans

knick fans and media overeact to everything, he needs to just stay in GS and cherry pick until he retires. he can't handle the pressure
I personally find 'player x couldn't win a ring' arguments retarded, but I really don't want to get into that discussion.

We can see from GSW, Spurs and other teams that the best player doesn't have to be the leader for the team to be successful.

As far as the media pressure goes I highly doubt he won't be able to handle it after all the media scrutiny he got for joining Warriors. And not just the backstabbing of OKC but how seamlessly he adapted into the team and shared spotlight with Curry.

After having every team play against GSW like it's a playoff game and everyone shytting on him no matter how good or bad he is, I doubt Isola and Berman will be too much for him.

Too be fair, I think that is true 90% of the time, but in the times that it mattered, clutch time, Durant did not shy away from being the man.

I specifically remember the finals game when he hit that 3 from deep in the final minutes... he would have faced a lot of scrutiny, and at those moments, you can't say he wasn't nervous or felt pressure.

It wasn't a tie game, they were down by 2 & still 17 seconds left on the shot clock. You only take that type of shot if you're J.R Smith or if you have that killer instinct and ice in veins.

I will never take anything away from his ability - almost goat tier.

That leaving your team and going to the team that came back 1-3, though... Purely on the entertainment & bball storyline side... I thought that was suck a lame move. The burner account. The "I'm in My Feelings" DMs.

That's all I meant about not really wanting to root for him.

But talent? This nikka is the fukking man. :wow:

nikka, ain't no way we have 4 year olds posting on the Coli. :heh:

My nikka I usually fux with your post so relax, what came to mind were the 99 Knicks and the Ewing and Stark's era, but specifically those born in the late 90's and like 2000 or 2001 ya dig, especially that classic run we had with Spree, Houston, LJ, Camby along with the OG Pat Ewing to the championship as the 8th seed b4 he got hurt that was missed by heads born in the late 90s or 2k posters.
:comeon:

I would say not to take everything so literally but I know some posters like to play dumb for laughs and dap fishing.

You didn't even answer the 2nd question but it's all good, don't bother, u might take the year 2022 literally as well

Now...BACK TO THE NEW YORK KNICKS, when do my fellow Coli Knick brehs think we gon see those playoffs again?

I miss watching NY in the post season, especially playoff games at the Garden
:blessed:

:wow:

Maybe for first round picks? I know we had to carve out cap space for Mitch with an exception from the reporting on it with the Hezonja signing. But I admit, capology is prolly my weakest area.

Yea. Just looked it up on cbafaq.com. Teams get exceptions to sign their first rounders but second rounders require space, a lot of time they end up signing for the minimum so it wouldn’t matter but in some special cases, like Robinson, when you want to cost control them you need to use your own cap money.

Edit:
First rounder money does count towards the cap. You were right originally. If we were already over the cap, the exceptions allows us to still sign the first rounder

What are you implying though? That KD can't flourish under pressure? That he isn't clutch? He has a couple gamewinners against us alone in OKC.

this is the man you are beggin for:beli:
Kevin Durant crushes hopes and dreams of Knicks fans everywhere

"Yo, when are you coming to the Knicks, man?" the fan asked.

"Never," Durant said loudly with a smile on his face.

The Washington, D.C. native took another shot at New York City during the visit.

"NYC, the so-called Mecca of basketball. I'll say it's second in line Mecca of basketball next to Washington, D.C. But I still got love for NYC," Durant said.
