listen KD or Kyrie in the offseason would be awesome, but right now the goal is to put the Knicks in a situation where a max player is a luxury not a necessity

the most important thing is to keep developing guys and get one more high draft pick and then be in a good situation with or without a max player in 2019
GREAT fukkING POST.

Taking Klay over Butler 10/10 times. more durable, better defender, way better shooter. That go to score shyt is overrated. Boston balled all the way to the conference finals without a “go to scorer”. Just a bunch of guys who could step up in spurts. Between a year 2 Knox, KP and Klay we’d have more than enough fire power.
2 of the other teams in the conference finals got there by mostly setting a lot of screens to force mismatches and isolate them with their superstars, and the Warriors did more than their fair share of that too. The Knicks probably won't be able field a team that runs an offense like the Warriors and Celtics do to maximize the scoring potential of a guy like Klay or other role players; he can't spend most of his time running off of screens if every guy on the court can't pass like every player on the Celtics and Warriors can. I'll give your durability, but I think Butler is the better defender and that's with having a bigger workload than Klay has. I'm not looking at Butler as a guy to just go get buckets either, he's a decent facilitator and can get others involved, he's moderately high usage, but no where near as high as some of the other star players in the league. I won't pick Butler over Klay every time, the situation matters, but in general he's a way better player.

I hear you, it’s early but we’ve seen flashes of Knox as a passer and already know about Frank. Plus drafting a guy like Cam Reddish adds another guy who can pass well. Not to mention Klay is very low maintenance compared to Jimmy who is one more incident away from being a certified locker room cancer.

The way the east is looking if we win 27 games we might hit the playoffs:francis:
Breh, other than the cavs every team that made the playoffs last yr is coming into the season better. Cavs, pistons will fight for that final spot.

8th seed last yr won 43 games, 40 games should be enough to get the 8th seed.

I fully expect magic and bulls to have a better record than us.

We should be fighting for the bottom seed with hawks and nets

Thank the basketball Gods. We now have a competent organization. Knox and Mitch will be great picks. :banderas:

Anthony Mason with retarded bounce
anthony mason played defense. we have yet to see if he does that
also mason got away with that in the 90s. you play the 3-4 and dont stretch the floor in 2018? it's hard to be effective without that ability at the nba level unless your name is giannis and even he has been working on his jumper
the nikka is 280 and 6'7....his knees are a ticking time bomb...shout out to jabari parker.
