Yea I’m not high in d Lo either. Every nets fan i know says Levert is their best player. D Lo is good for sure but i don’t know how much better he can get.

Inherently free agency is all about paying a player for past performance and hoping that it continues into the future. With DLo(though I'm not a huge fan of his game), he's only 23 and really had a breakout season last year. You can make the argument his best basketball is ahead of him. If the Knicks brought him in it wouldn't be the worst decision in the world

Not for his price range. In 4 year when your paying him what might be a quarter your cap room, what is he contributing to?

I won't lie, I would trade back for multiple picks( this year+future picks) if I could guarantee Culver being available when we do. I hopped off of the Culver train after the tournament, but going through footage and scouting videos has me back on it recently. Dude is legitimately good; his handle, ability to create shots, his defense, all are on point.

Im not bold enough to pick him at three over Barrett though, recent developments has me feeling pretty risk averse:hubie:

If we leave this draft with any of RJ, Garland, Culver...I'll be content. If trade down and get one of them, I'd be hype! Then Clarke, Hunter and Reddish are the other cats I'd be happy to take a shot on but not at 3. I think Clarke could wind up being a sleeper with where I see some mocks placing him, his motor + athleticism will make up for being a bit undersized and if he gets the jumper down then the sky is the limit if he can get you minutes at both F spots.

Windhorst was on TV saying he thinks the Knicks are out of the AD sweepstakes and are zeroing in on Barrett.

It could be that the Knicks are just really practicing more patience with prospects in general. That's how Perry's been so far anyway. It could also be that the KD injury has caused the FO to pivot on the fly to continuing the rebuild. Then it's also possible that they just never had a competitive offer to begin with. But what I'd like to think has transpired is that RJ Barrett's workout was so good that it made them bow out...is that wishful thinking?

He joined the ROC with KD

Yep, I’m thinking Brooklyn is a done deal. Someone reported they wants Tobias Harris too.....

So DLo is on the market unofficially

He’s flawed but it works if the Narrative is the Knicks are building a young core, plus he was just an All Star.

Interestingly enough, DLo is the player I wanted us to draft when we ended up with KP.

His passing skills in college were just :wow:

He’d be the 4th player from that lottery class to wear a Knicks’ jersey...

I’d be ok with that signing to team up with RJ, Knox, and Mitch. Then draft a PF next year.
