So according to FrenchKnicksPod on twitter, Frank is fully healthy, has added more muscle, is now 6’7” and shooting 1000 3 pters a day... :wow:

Frank could develop into a Batum type player. The reason they tried to force the PG role with him was they had too many SG’s on the roster when they drafted him and the Triangle.

Uh guys....wtf am I looking at.
:ohhh:

I wanna give Frank another season, if he's really 6'7" now and can get a jumper going he'll be a lot better next year; He'll probably only net a second rounder if he gets traded anyways, and it makes no sense to trade him while his value is so low.

The only damned thing he should be working on all summer. Hopefully that quick release can translate in games. If he adds the three ball, he'll be an instant 3 and D piece. Even on a down, injury plagued year he held opponents in isolation to 30% EFG and while his pick and roll defense dipped from best in the league, the pick and roll ball handler turned it over 26% of the time when Frank guarded him. He's cheap and won't bring back much value if anything. We might as well see what we've got with him (and I was ready to move him if we were in a win-now mode acquiring KD but if we're still in building mode I'm thinking it's worth waiting).

He really needs to work with T Parker or Steve Nash to help his handles and get a floater. With his height and wingspan :banderas:

Frank :wow:

6'7 and still only 19+2 years old :wow:

Frank's shot was never broken though, his problem is lack of confidence. I hope all these shots he's putting up free him up to stop p*ssyfooting and passing up open looks.

But like others have said he needs a mentor like Tony Parker, dude that won't pass up an open look at teammate's wife much less an open jumpshot :shaq:

Barrett's Godfather coming through to help would be great. Nash could help Frank on the jumper and the handling for sure. I want Frank focused on the three ball for now and then he can expand from there, just because the three ball makes him immediately valuable as a quality defender and off ball piece. But ball handling and some finishing tools (floater among them) in the paint would go a long way too for sure. Billups is another guy I think could really help Frank.

This what I been saying all of last season, he needs a mentor. Look at how Knox and Mitch turned a corner when they got in contact with King and DJ respectively, it says a lot about the coaching. This coaching staff and development team ain’t that great.

Nash isn’t doing that he’s a Golden State Warriors employee.
