I see RJ is trying to force his way to the Knicks

Meanwhile,

Why are you posting This ? We all know about his physical gifts and potential but like the video says he had a bunch of no show games and Is mostly potential. He shows no drive to be the big dog on a team it looks like unlike Zion or RJ we don’t need another frank or tentative guy like Knox. We taking RJ if cam turns out better :yeshrug: but it’s not worth it

What difference does it make ? KD recovering anyway and all it costs is money . If he’s aroufn dropping knowledge on the young guys and say kyrie comes well still be a good young team until he recovers . Also we stop teaching the young guys to lose constantly . Draft Barrett and let them all play until KD returns . You guys rather a just do nothing approach Saving money for what ? And keep losing for what ?so we can hopefully get the fifth pick . Unless they say KD never can oplay again I’d risk it . It’s no riskier than doing nothing and sitting around

Nobody said do nothing, I just don't think it's a good look to pay a player (albeit a great player) 30+ mil to mentor (while I believe there's great value to a mentor like KD) while he ages/naturally declines and hopefully doesn't re-injure himself. As a Knicks fan I have enough bad history/memories of similar moves being made...why should the Knicks repeat the same mistakes they made in the past?

All we got is question marks breh, but I don't understand how you're dooming the Knicks when they're in the midst of the most flexibility they've probably ever had considering the cap space, 3rd pick, all of their own future picks and a few extra from other teams.

I heard a dude on the Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker, some journalist, saying that he saw a lot of Tracy McGrady in Reddish's game. I watched quite a bit of dook games this past year, and other than the big comeback against Louisville, I didn't see anything that stood out.
That's my boy Rashad Phillips. He is pretty high on Reddish

Cam my guy but he not coming breh... once he met with the Knicks and they probably told him they’re only interested in him if they trade down, and he shut it down, it’s cause he probably got a guarantee from the hawks and was satisfied with it. (Great spot for him by the way). I was banking on him killing private workouts to move up. If the Knicks take him 3, it’s actually gross negligence at this point.

Knicks Make Their Own Young Talent Look Bad When You Fill The Team With A Buncha D League Rejects That They Gain NOTHING From Playing With

Big Disservice To The Young Guys

I don’t think the Knicks should tank. They should look to infuse the roster with talent. RJ, Knox, DSJ, Mitch, Dotson are a good, young squad. Hopefully Frank and Trier step up. The Knicks should play the RFA market harsh to maybe overpay a young dude with the belief they will grow into their contract.

The Knicks should look to add underrated Veterans who fit around their young core. Especially at PF because we don’t have one on the roster besides maybe bringing Vonleh back on a good deal

The Knicks should also see if they can get young players of picks for taking on a contract from a team looking to improve short term. I don’t think we have the assets to trade for an AD yet, but we do have the assets to trade for a player like Taurean Prince. Right now that move is premature because we have no core. However getting assets to move when that happens should be a secondary goal.

Raptors might win a chip because their front office was shrewd with money, took smart risks, and made hard decisions that had better long term potential. Signing 31 year old KD to Max money after an Achilles Tear and/or gutting the whole roster for AD doesn’t qualify as any of those things.

I think at worse, we'll have a team similar to the clippers with a bunch of role players going to the playoffs. Our coaching staff is very underrated and similar to Doc Rivers.

Hell no. If they don't sign star level players, they're screwed. That Clippers team won 48 games in a deep Western Conference. Their depth completely shyts on ours. Besides Mitchell Robinson, I can list at least LAC eight players better than the Knicks second best player. Doc Rivers is an established championship coach. We don't know what David Fizdale is right now.

I'd be cool with filling in roster holes with some vets who have skillsets that compliment our current crop. Last year was a good attempt at bringing in cheap, low risk players but "fit" went out the window. If we chased Portis for better spacing, I'd be cool with that. I'd also tap Charlotte about MKG's expiring, they'll probably want to cut some expenses to pay Kemba to stay and we could use him as a stopper while maybe adding another asset for the favor we'd be doing Charlotte. Those kinda moves would be scoffed at in light of the hype for KD/Kyrie/Kawhi; but I'd rather do those than jump on the treadmill. We'd be in a position to strike next offseason or at the trade deadline while the youngsters would continue their development in rotations that actually fit together well.
