When Lamar started picking up steam, ppl were talking about "lamar being in the mvp discussion came outta nowhere. It was always Dak/Jalen/Reek/CMC/Purdy/Tua" . I bet those same ppl wont say anything about Josh not being in the discussions but magically popping up

I mean I don't see how it isn't clear to everyone that Lamar is just a different QB. He's a better player than he was during his MVP season which is kind of crazy if you think about it. He's the second best QB in the NFL for me. If he wins it this year, I'll call him right there or better than Mahomes

I said two things:

This isn't a stats-based award, and his stats aren't all that impressive. Both can be true.

Do you think Lamar is winning this for his passing #s? All I'm saying is, that posting Purdy's stats to make a case for him is a waste of time.
