If you take every QB Superbowls away, Brady is no. 1 in every advanced metrics. The two best QBs in terms of performance are Brady/Manning. Trying to act like Brady is the best because of Superbowls is not only lazy, but hypocritical. Mahomes hasnt been close to the best QB, the last two seasons, arguably not top 5 in 2023 or 2024. Yet he is still hailed as the best. Based on winning. Superbowls have nothing to do with Brady being All Decade, twice!! Nothing to do with leading his team to the most pts ever in a 3 season stretch(2010-2012). Nothing to do with him leading the league in passing tds, 5 times or passing yards, 4 times.

What advanced metrics are you referring to? Out of curiosity, I looked at Pro Football Stats, History, Scores, Standings, Playoffs, Schedule & Records | Pro-Football-Reference.com and their advanced stats for QBs only went as far back as 2018.

It’s like everyone who try’s to use Lamar playoff record against him forgets that Lamar was the entire offense teams focused solely on stopping him. Hes never came close until this year to having the same amount of talent as mahomes had on offense. Also mahomes has gotten carried a couple times in the playoffs where as Lamar never could have that privilege he had to be Superman to win in every game prior to this year he was the leading rusher and while also throwing to scrubs. If you had them both switch teams the ravens wouldn’t be nowhere near as successful as they are with Patrick compared to what they achieved with Lamar. The Lamar disrespect is wild af
