@Dr. Narcisse perfectly mentioned it earlier in this thread, but I don't think OP and others realize how much of a disservice you're doing to Lamar and setting him up for potential slander with these type of threads if he fails in the playoffs. Especially considering same said people will start juelzing and making excuses about it like they did last postseason further creating the narrative of bias and playing favorites.
Let's not act like I'm influential enough or an innovator in people hating on athletes. Those people would do that without me ever making this thread...

These are two hating ass comments intentionally misleading and missing the premise 🤣 🤣...
Nothing about my comment could be perceived as being hateful, or intentionally misleading or missing the premise of the comment I quoted.

Until Lamar wins something, he's not in the conversation of someone who's won 3x SB and 3x SB MVP. This shouldn't even need pointing out. Wait to have these discussions when they're warranted, not before. You're doing a disservice to all the players involved. You're desperately trying to claw back the margin of loss over the years where Mahomes has proved you wrong, and you're cutting off your nose to spite your face in the process.

I know you're not being serious rn either, trying to label that comment as "hating", while at the same time trying to convince folks you're not a Mahomes hater, despite making threads like this - https://www.thecoli.com/threads/ove...per-bowl-meltdown-appreciation-thread.830793/.

I already said he has to win one to draw even. But yes, calling yall "haters" is in jest...

Yall keep bringing up the old SB thread, which at that time he was overrated and he sucked in that game...

One doesn't make him even though, which is their point in trying to tell you.
Which is fair, I'll accept that response from those whose standards are simply a counting game. It's not mine so I don't agree but I'll accept the response...

My stance is, if Lamar gets one, while playing to his standards for a playoff run, having multiple and consecutive years of having outplayed Mahomes in regular seasons, possibly beating Mahomes en route to a ring...

That scenario to me, is enough to bring him even to Lamar...

Let's not forget, I believe you're a bit younger than me, but those old enough to remember, will note that Brady always had a multiple SB lead over Manning and it took years for there to be a consensus of Brady over Manning. If Lamar gets ONE, I do think there'll be a sea change in how people compare the two, and history shows us most heads are smarter than just ring counting...

Again you all keep ignoring the question, player for player, where is Current Lamar inferior to Peak Mahomes? We're watching a guy match that level in real time, if he caps it off trust and believe a lot more people will acknowledge this...

Breh I kinda hate you made this thread. Should have let him win a ring first and then make it. Just leads to endless hating if he doesn't get it done this year. It would have been too early as well, but at least it would have been coming off a championship.

The irony is, as a LeBron Stan yourself, this sort of reminds me of people saying KD was on Bron's level after he won back to back rings.
Or Mikal Bridges was the next Kawhi :wow:

I hope breh don’t gamble

Pat is chasing Brady and Lamar hasn't even made the SB. Lamar's playoff performance has been underwhelming. He hasn't even proven himself as a playoff performer. The idea that he's on par with Maholmes if he wins this year is the most asinine thing OP has posted and he's posted a lot of asinine shyt.

It's pretty obvious that I'm bias towards Lamar but I don't see how with everything you posted you can say 1 ring puts him on an even level with Mahomes. Even if you take away the rings, Mahomes has him beat in most categories. I will admit that Mahomes hasn't looked that great these last two seasons but I put that more on his GM doing a horrible job of putting talent around him. I don't know why you dislike Mahomes so much but there's no need to discredit what he's done to try to amplify Lamar.
If this is the case then the ATG placement he's been given needs to be reigned in, and I'm saying that while disagreeing with OP's overall premise.
