Everything would've been so different, if KD just didn't step on that line. :wow:

The people who criticized him for going to GS are not going to give him props for winning with a super team in BK
Props, no. But it can't be objectively looked at the same way. GS was already in championship mode. They were like 5 points from just having won the previous season. BK has yet to win anything. Superteam or not, he would be bringing them their first championship.

It's also weird too... because he's so talented, 7 ft... and he's played with so many great players throughout his career, on the level of Shaq and LeBron... with those guys in their prime...

Yet has only 2 rings to show for it.

He better pray that Giannis or Curry don't win another ring, or else his legacy might be irreparable :francis:
hes also had a lot of misfortune. he missed two playoffs due to injury and a finals on top of that. yes golden state was stacked but in his entire career hes been healthy in 2 playoffs with more than one all star teammate and he won the title both times. hes also had 2 playoff runs wrecked by injuries to his all star teammate(s). then every year you could argue hes had the toughest conference road to even get to a finals dealing with sa and gs during his okc run and last year losing to the eventual champs.

Most players from the NBA retire without a championship ring and have never been to an NBA final.

Kevin has many WCF appearances with three championship experiences to along with two rings. He has reached a milestone that many players that came before and after him will never reach. His legacy is intact despite the Kyrie fukkery.

He knew what he was getting himself into

this. Kyrie is not the kind of guy you align with. Reminds me of the friend you know will make some lame excuse at the last minute to not come on the trip but you invite him anyways cuz he’d be sulking in the corner if you told him why (he’s unreliable and selfish)
