It's actually quite the opposite.
No its not... instead of passing until a player is open.. lebron draws the whole crowd and pass to the open player...but princeton offense makes everyone a shooter.. no more play by designed position..so does the so called bron ball..

Everyone on the floor is a shooter(except TT)

The fundamental principle of the princeton offense is constant movement, both the ball and the players. That's the opposite to Bron ball.

Players move... the guards are constantly cutting..TT is used for screens... And the fundamental of princeton is constant passing and movement until u get an open player for a shot...the part where u use ur post to draw a crowd is what the triangle uses as its variant of the princeton..bron ball already knows he will draw a crowd by diving so dives and passes to the open player... all players are placed the same place and movement of the guard is the same...backdoor cuts...thus its a variant...it is not the princeton offense

It's not a variant of the princeton offense, it's nothing like it. I don't know how the hell you're a Cavs fan, and yet seem to think they've been running a Princeton-type of offense, all this time. What the hell have you been watching.... I wonder.

The only similarities between a Princeton-type offense, and what the Cavs have been running over the last three seasons is that they both involve a basketball - that's about the extent of it. Irving and LeBron had the ball in their hands for approximately 75%-80% of the time that the starting lineup was on the floor, that is in conflict with the very nature of the Princeton offense, and any "variant" of it. Kyrie and LeBron were responsible for 64% of the team's total assists (the team was only ranked 13th), and they scored 46% of the team's total points. Basically, they were responsible for nearly 80% of the team's total production. That's TWO players who were responsible for nearly 80% of the team's total production.

That percentage was even HIGHER in the postseason. And you wanna sit here and tell me that they run a "variant" of an offense that's based on a relative scale of equal touches, opportunities, and workload; an offense that's ultimately based on teamwork.

Similarities are

Players playing out of position and stretching the floor
Need to be excellent shooter
Pass to open man for open shot
Both start with all players outside of the 3 point line (if tt is not the center)
Both have guards doing backdoor cuts

Only real difference is princeton passes until a man is open.. bron ball dives and finds the open man...

Not sure why you denying this

You motherfukkers will be the first to discredit Duncan being over Kobe despite playing in one of the most motion heavy and pass happy offenses around.

Kobe was the best player on the court when he played against the Spurs

Well, it's clear as hell you don't know shyt about hoops. Go and drown yourself in box score stats with the rest of your fellow LeBron stans, while the grown folks talk.

Yeah we don't know hooping and you do :bryan:

This is why Irving was averaging the best numbers of his career, breaking offensive records.

That floor spacing :banderas:

Legoat sitting screens:banderas:

I can see that you're new here, perhaps it'd be best if you just stayed on the bench for a while. You're not versed enough to post like you're a starter.
