people were buying multiple 360s after they RROD on them after the warranty period. Microsoft made a piece of shyt system that was defective and broken and people still continued to buy it over and over again.

hell some people spend hundreds on a "slim" model just because they thought it wouldn't red ring on them.

gamers bytch but they still buy. that's the way it is.

thats really more of a testament to how dumb xbox users are

many of the early PS3 models had YLOD. you're talking about the level of consumer that will buy repackaged consoles for the sake of it being smaller even though they already own the same console that does all the same stuff.

the only thing as gamers i can ever recall the majority of us unifying on was the Mass Effect 3 ending. outside of that there's no unity among us. when this system hits a small vocal minority won't buy it because of the requirement.

this is like rejecting a dime chick that only dates guys that make above 70K and you rack in 150k a year just for the sake of you not liking the fact that she has a standard that doesn't even apply to you.

you guys are missing the point.

The system WON'T work if your internet is poor/or you don't have it. Its like paying 3-400 dollars for a brick system. Its no way around this. Either the system works without online or it doesn't. Past customers will be Forced to by a PS4 if they want to game.

With this 720 stuff there is no offline...you can't game at all. The game shuts completely off. There is no use to buy the system if it doesn't even come on. That is the point. Heck, with the 360 at least you could still play for a few months before it broke. :snoop:

This is a bad move & they have to fix this.

Not to sound like a dikk, but how often are you going to play a game without an active internet connection?

I connect online with my ps3 about 10% of the time.

Basically I don't game online and only connect when I have to i.e updating it :ld:

:leostare:

Really, Because I remember working at Babbages (before it was gamestop) when the PS2 dropped and it did the same thing as the old models of the xbox did, as well randomly didn't play blue back disc and if your game had a SLIGHT scratch on it it wouldn't play.

nikka's and cac's came in an bought systems over and over and over again until they fixed the issue.

How fast people forget....
