that's their problem. honestly if they wanna live in piece of shyt areas that can't get access to broadband that's their fault.

the guy that games on Xbox Live and is a gold member that's their bread and butter. those are the guys that drive the profits. the people you're talking about they likely aren't the ones buying multiple titles every month and playing heavily.

Microsoft is basically cutting the fat out. the Xbox 360 wasn't a kids console to begin with. all the popular franchises are adult games.

this sounds like when white people tell black people to get out the US because we don't like/agree with a lot of US customs even though we were brought here and built the country

now here you have M$ saying if you live in an area with poor internet and want our system, move :shaq2:

:salute: to my japanese brothers system, the PS4

You're out of touch and you don't even know it. Just because YOU and the people YOU know have steady reliable Internet service doesn't mean everybody else does. Last year I went to college in Stillwater (OK ST.) and the whole university apartment zone was notorious for some shytty, cheap Internet service. It worked but it was extremely choppy and sensitive to traffic. To make matters worse, the apartment complexes (all owned by 1 guy) wouldn't allow residents to use their own Internet provider, since Internet was a fixed rent cost. They wouldn't even let you pay them to use a different service. This Xbox just wouldn't be able to run smoothly there.
something like in the high 40% range of this country voted for Mitt Romney. it doesn't matter Obama is president. if the people that voted for Romney don't like an Obama presidency they have options like leaving the country.

does it make me out of touch for saying that just because i voted for Obama and he won?

you can buy a Playstation 4 which at the moment claims to not have this feature. you can buy a Wii U which also doesn't have that feature. however i feel like if Microsoft pulls this off Sony will have pressure on them to do the same. third party publishers have to like an always online console that doesn't play used games. we'll see how long Sony holds out.

LMAO you are so off on this

I shouldn't have to worry about a random internet outage kicking me off my single player game.

If this isn't a dev kit thing, and makes it to the final product, count me out.

People are still going to buy the nextbox.

EA is the worst company in America according to some shyt I heard online yet they still sell a bunch of games. People will complain, buy it and then just deal with it. :yeshrug:

Yup.

This is why I say despite all this MS will be fine....In the US at least.

you don't have to worry because you don't have to buy it. personally as long as my game does a quick save so i can resume later i'll deal with it.

would i like to have the option to play offline? yeah but if it isn't given to me will that change my purchase of the console? no.

at the end of the day the next xbox is gonna have games i wanna play on it and that drives my purchase. i'm buying it to play those games not because i approve of their drm strategy of being always connected.

Microsoft isn't stupid. they know how many xbox 360s connect to live and how many different games those players buy and their ability to track this info is obviously leading them to the fact that doing this won't hurt their bottom line as much as it will help them secure the console.

I haven't pirated a game this generation. I'm not going to buy a console that makes me pay for something I didn't do.

Enjoy getting raped, though.

I think that even if MS releases a statement that says what I want to hear, "no always online," this stupid fukk's still getting shytcanned.

nobody wants that to be a requirement. i don't want that but if that's the way the console is i'll deal with it and i'm still buying it. if yall don't want it i feel you just skip it.

i bet is publishers start favoring Microsoft because their console sells more games (people can't buy used) and has less to no piracy (can't play offline) Sony will cave and implement a similar system to appease them.

do yall honestly think the few of yall throwing a hissy fit over the console always being online talking about not buying it even matter. the majority of the people complaining about this still are gonna cop day one.
