:wow: at the balls it takes to pull this move.
Requiring you to pay for an online subscription just so you can use the system.
Then hopping on twitter to shyt on you for questioning it.
This is like spitting in somebodies face and telling them to lick it off.

A paper gangster move :takedat: would be proud of.

They should just get rid of silver Live accounts while they're at it. Some people are literally addicted to Xbox Live and will buy it regardless.

It's funny how everyone hating on this move obviously has internet :heh:

Nah but I see the problem. fukk getting kicked off a game trying to beat a single player because my internet is having issues. I have a busy schedule so when I get a chance to play I don't want that stupid shyt to fukk me over.

I guess PS4 is going to get my money :manny:. Still want to see them both first so I can decide for sure.

with my smart phone and my PC the internet is part of the device to me. i don't use either if the internet is down on them.

one of the console makers (probably Microsoft) is likely gonna end up doing this or at the least allowing publishers to enable always online on their games.

once the floodgate opens it won't close ever again. from a business standpoint there are too many advantages to these companies not to do it. the consumers that they lose over it will be collateral damage.

Live Silver is virtually nothing. its just a gamertag that's reserved incase you wanna go gold. at this point virtually everything you'd wanna do online on an Xbox is behind a pay wall. even free services like Youtube.

I use my PC without internet sometimes. I had to last year after a storm. and that's the thing, it's gonna happen at the worst time: the internet's down, there's a hurricane outside, you got power... but you can't even play video games?

it sucks when for whatever reason you don't have internet, but at least you can finally beat the campaign or whatever. not being able to play the game at all is retarded

i got a huge backlog of games especially on the Playstation 3 there's be stuff to do. honestly i think some of you are complaining about this just for the sake of complaining. if the internet goes down for a couple days in the several years you own a console and can't play it those days are virtually nothing in comparison to the thousands of days it was up.

lets say it has a life span of 1800 days which is about 5 years if in that span it's down 5% of the time that's 90 days. you're still left with 1710 days of up time but you're basically saying those 90 days of the potential for them to happen mean more than the 1710 days.

for a good chunk of us our consoles are on our wifi networks and connect to PSN and Xbox live upon boot. we already play them as if they're always online right now. that's why it doesn't bother me because that's how it is for me now.
