Xbox consoles still play all the games it has in the past, and Xbox games and hardware still have the best terms as far as consumer rights.

Every time a quarterly report comes out their hardware sales are down another 29% year over year. The market rejected Xbox and all it entails. That's why games they clearly didn't want to put on Sony hardware are coming to it. That's why the Xbox CEO that was rambling in that emergency broadcast almost a year ago talking about its "just 4 games" is now talking like there's not a game they won't put on a rival's platform.

That console doesn't make sense because you can't subsidize it and most will choose to buy games on steam instead of xbox. The logistics of that console doesn't make sense. There's no confidence with what happens to xbox users library when it comes to new hardware. Most don't care if its cloud is how you access games because people want to play games natively. All of this could've been avoided if they made play anywhere mandatory, but Phil being a half measure guy has made this all a mess
