The 718
Kyrie still saved him while he watched from the corner like the rest of us.

And FYI, Kyrie is the only guy who hit a FG in the last 4 minutes of that game. LeBron scored his points early in the 4th quarter before the pressure turned up.

When that happened LeBron went into his scared passive mode watching Kyrie take the biggest shot of the series.
With 5 minutes left, the Warriors were up 4...and then who scored six straight points to put the Cavs up 2...?

LeBron went into passive mode? Both teams were ice cold for 4 minutes and LeBron took and missed several shots, while also getting the game saving block. You Kobetards frequently commend Kobe for having the balls to miss shots so don't change your criteria here:ufdup:

Like I said Kobe has never been in a position where he's about to be eliminated and lose a championship only to have someone else save him in the last seconds.

I love Swag's selective reasoning.

Apparently, if someone hits the crucial game-winning shot that keeps you from going down 2-1 or 3-1 or 3-2, it "doesn't count". It ONLY counts if you are already down 3-2 or tied 3-3.

Apparently, if you're up 1-3 points and Artest makes the shot of the game, it "doesn't count", you weren't saved, no big deal, etc. But if you're up 1-3 points and Kobe makes the shot of the game, it's "one of the greatest clutch shots in playoff history".

Apparently, if you are saved by someone else in the earlier rounds, it "doesn't count". It ONLY counts if you're "saved" by someone else in the Finals.

Apparently, if the refs give you a 27 to 7 free throw edge in the 4th quarter of the elimination game that you'd otherwise have lost, or foul out the other team's two star players along with giving you a 37-16 free throw edge with allows you to come back from a huge deficit, or fail to make an obvious foul call that would have allowed the other team a chance to tie the game, or give you your last 12 points on free throws because you can't hit a shot all game, it "doesn't count". It ONLY counts if it's a jump shot that makes the difference.

Apparently, if the game was tied and it's Kobe involved, then it doesn't matter what happens because Kobe was going to win anyway. But if the game is tied and Lebron is involved, then Lebron was "saved" because he was obviously going to lose (even though he wasn't even behind).

This is the WOAT Swagnificient "eye test". Any scenario, ever, can be flipped on its head.

Completely selective bullshyt.

Lebron hit a floater to put the Cavs up three with 7:15 left.
Three huge clutch free throws after fouled on a three to cut a 4-point deficit to 1 point with 5:24 left
A three-pointer to give the Cavs a two point lead with 4:53 left.
Missed a jumper, then got a layup tipped with 3:00 left.
Had the huge block of Iggy on the breakaway layup with 1:50 left.
Missed a floater with 1:25 left.
Got fouled on a dunk and made the game-sealing free throw with 0:11 left.

Tell me, at what point did Lebron suddenly revert into your mythical "passive mode"?

Lebron was 2-6 from the field and 4-5 from the line for 9 points in the final eight minutes of the game.
Kyrie was 1-4 from the field and 0-0 from the line for 3 points in the final eight minutes of the game.

But who was watching who again?

Meanwhile, they argue Kobe was clutch in game 7 when he didn't make a shot the final 5:15 of the game and scored just 2 of the lakers last 12 points :heh:

Kobe was the guy who hit Artest in the final minute with the assist cause he was getting doubled. Kobe was not a SPECTATOR at the end of the game like LeBron.

Shaq winning 3 fmvps while kobe shot 40% = Not being carried

Kyrie scoring less, rebounding less, and being worse on D than LBJ but making the last shot = being carried/bailed out

:dahell::mindblown:

what kinda logic this nikka use

When Kobe and Shaq played, the finals were not the most important round. The East was so weak it was almost an exhibition round. The real finals was also in the West. And it was against the Spurs, Kings, and Blazers that Kobe dominated just as much as Shaq.

What Kyrie did was hit the shot that decided the series. That is SIGNIFICANT. Kobe never had a teammate save him during an elimination game in the finals by hitting the game-winning shot.

And most importantly, Kobe was never a spectator at the end of the most important games. He was the guy making the play whether it was a pass or shot. LeBron is regularly a spectator that watches Kyrie or Ray Allen hit the game winning shot like the rest of us fans.

Kobe = difference maker in the clutch

LeBron = spectator

Kobe scores 2 of the final 12 points - Kobe = "difference make in the clutch" because he got 1 assist.
Lebron scores 9 of the final 12 points - Lebron = "spectator" because Kyrie made one shot off the dribble with a minute left.

The funniest part is that Lebron's being attacked for letting Kyrie do his thing and not getting the assist on the play, but one month later they be screaming, "Bron always hogs the ball and has to get the assists, why doesn't he ever let Kyrie do his thing, it sucks to play with Bron! Bronball sucks!!!"

Hypocritical motherfukkers :russ:

Maybe I'm just biased because I blocked Sccit months ago and can't see those awful arguments anymore, but it feels like Swagnificent has become even worse than Sccit ever was.

When the pressure was turned to the max during that final minute, it was LeBron watching Kyrie hit the game-winning shot. You can try and deflect as much as you want but the enduring image from that game is Kyrie hitting that shot over Steph while LeBron watches in the corner like the rest of us.

And yet all his peers say he's the best of his era and the 2nd greatest of all-time.

You can have whatever opinion you want. The most important people (NBA players) agree with me. And I'm cool with that.
