Lets compare them at 32.
Bron 26/9/9 PO 33/9/8
Kobe 25/5/5 PO 23/3/3

Started better and will finish better :wow:

Kobe was dealing with significant knee issues in 2010-11.

Kudos to LeBron for being the bionic man when it comes to health but Kobe wasn't the same health-wise after 2009.

2012-13 was a rebirth for him before he had the achilles.

Lets see what 34 year old LeBron does. 27/6/6 at 34 years old by Kobe was pretty impressive.

I'm not even going to entertain this cherry-picked, intellectually dishonest nonsense :mjlol:

You're denying Ray Allen saved LeBron's legacy with that 3 in game 6? Right before that, LeBron missed a 3 to tie the game. Without Ray 's shot LeBron has 1 less ring.

Kyrie hit the only FG during those last 3-4 minutes of game 7. If his 3 doesn't go in, who knows. Pretty good odds Warriors win the game.

LeBron was the beneficiary of 2 of the greatest clutch shots in NBA history in do or die moments.

How many rings would Kobe have if :

Brian Shaw doesn't get hot in the 4th quarter against Portland?
Robert Horry never hits the shot in Game 4 against the Kings?
Courtney Lee doesn't miss the easiest alley-oop possible in Game 2 against Orlando and Derek Fisher misses the game-tying shot in Game 4?
Ron Artest and Derek Fisher don't hit big 3's against Boston?

I don't count any of those near-misses against Kobe because I'm not a fukking retard who reduces player accomplishments to 1 or 2 moments where they might have lost in the name of asinine stan wars.

Kobe's never had someone save him during an ELIMINATION GAME in the finals. Those are apples to oranges.

(1) Horry's shot only saved us from a 3-1 deficit. Lakers won game 7 on the road that series. Not crazy to think they could have gotten game 5.

(2) DFish's shot against Orlando only saved us from a 2-2 series. Not elimination. Considering his easily we won game 5, we were gonna win that series no matter what.

(3) B. Shaw was one of many guys to hit shots during that comeback. That's normal in big time playoff comebacks. And if you remember the game, Shaw only triggered the comeback. Kobe handled it from there.

(4) With regard to Courtney Lee, opponents mistakes don't count. That's on them not Kobe. Opponents make bonehead plays all the time. Nobody brings up Steph Curry's turnovers or horrible shots at the end of game 7 when discussing LeBron.

(5) Lakers were already in the lead against the Celtics when Artest hit that clutch 3. And if you remember Kobe was the one who set him up cause he was getting doubled and Artest was open. That's called a good play by Kobe. Its not getting saved like LeBron in game 7 by Kyrie. Remember that game was tied before Kyrie's shot. And unlike Kobe who set up Artest, LeBron was in the corner watching Kyrie go to work like the rest of us. Kobe's never just watched someone go to work in the clutch of a big game like a spectator.

Like I said Kobe has never been in a position where he's about to be eliminated and lose a championship only to have someone else save him in the last seconds.

Kobe stans don't deal in facts. The only suitable option is neg, then ignore. You could show visual evidence with a total play by play X's and O's breakdown and they'll still argue that what you've shown them isn't true. There's a reason 4-5 of them make the WOAT ballot every year.

AND Blazers.

Don't forget, Lakers only came back from 15 down against the Blazers in Game 7 because of a 37 to 16 free throw advantage where the refs fouled Pippen AND Sabonis out of the game. Without those two, the Blazers were forced to guard Kobe with Steve Smith and Shaq with Brian Grant. :snoop:

Watch the video - this pretty much defines every crucial game the Lakers played in that 2000-2002 run. If they were having a tough time, then you couldn't disturb Shaq in any way at all without fouling out of the game, and Kobe got way more than he deserved too.

Kyrie still saved him while he watched from the corner like the rest of us.

And FYI, Kyrie is the only guy who hit a FG in the last 4 minutes of that game. LeBron scored his points early in the 4th quarter before the pressure turned up.

When that happened LeBron went into his scared passive mode watching Kyrie take the biggest shot of the series.

Stfu. LeBron doesn't score 11 points in the 4th, Kyrie isn't even in a position to hit that. Those teams were ice cold in the last 3-4 minutes. LeBron's block was a momentum changer and game saver. Teammates hitting shots is part of the game.

Meanwhile, they argue Kobe was clutch in game 7 when he didn't make a shot the final 5:15 of the game and scored just 2 of the lakers last 12 points :heh:
